Disappointing, I had high hopes about this costume.

Not sure I will be getting it anymore.

Look at how it curls underneath your character when crouching... Eugh! It's meant to be a F**** cloak. 0 Effort, I mean really, 0 effort...

This is a situation when I wish they would just say "The game does not support the physics necessary to make a cloak look epic, so rather than release a costume that looks like crap we omitted the cloak."

The thing is. The game CAN handle something like a cloak hanging down. It's just plain laziness.

Some people just do not look really closely at what they are wearing - how could they buy low quality stuff in real life otherwise?- Most stuff sold is of low quality in real life and most people are not bothered by this fact - so most might just not have a taste for quality wear.

I'm actually considering getting it because I sincerely hope that they update it in the future to be less... bleh. Because the concept is great, it's just the balloon chests and the sticky cape and the flying be... you know, on second thought, this doesn't seem like a great investment. Have they gone back and updated Crown Store costumes, ever?

I wish the higher ups were more committed to quality than churning out subpar pieces. For all the people who complained about the Dro-m'Athra senche, at least it didn't have wonky model issues and the complaints were (almost) purely about the price tag. This is just shoddy craftsmanship.

They changed some of the desert-themed costumes - not necessarily to the better IMO. It is just sad, when you compare what modders have done to make awesome Skyrim costumes - I am thinking of the bosmer armor for example, a hooded armor set which looks really awesome, different varieties of hoods, armored and non armored - they do a much better job than ZOS's paid staff does in this regard.

Maybe they can with more effort than they are willing to allow the developer to invest... either way IMO if they are not going to use the correct physics to make the cloak flow correctly then they shouldn't have bothered with the cloak.

I'm thinking the same, to buy it now and hope it will get fixed. But I have serious doubts about it ever getting "corrected"

Does it mean that to have a nice quality item (mount/costume) from the crown store, we have to pay 30$ + ? :(

I wouldn't count on them updating it unless nobody buys it.

Yeah, unfortunately, it looked good on the preview where you can't move around in it. So I bought it as I liked how it looked. Then as I moved around in it I wanted to hang myself :/

2 things to add I guess

1: Am I the only character who don't get fat in this outfit? On my Khajiit, he puffs out the chest instead
2: I'm pretty sure that this ain't a cloak costume.. Is it not just a coat?

Watch the Cinematic trailers and how the Breton Hero's Cloak behaves. It's definitely a cloak.

I know how the trailer version looked  Still, this seems to have been made into a coat instead

If they could just add the option to Hide / Unhide the cloak I would be happier.

But it doesn't behave and look like a coat either - it just looks weird from the side.

I guess, the hood might get a forehead cover like with the darkstride helmet - this would be very easy to do and solve the problem with the hood at least - for the rest, I would not bet a cent on that.

This is a premium outfit and it's absolutely horrible.

It's like they took a dress/robe model and applied it to the cloak part which makes it look completely unnatural.

The waist is bloated and the arms are skinny making the proportions look terrible.

The cowl isn't as wide and flaring as the preview art.

Ridiculously bad for a much hyped set.

At least your machines are able to load the correct colors for the costume. My pc can't even load most of the in-game colors right, everything is either black or shades of blue.
