Why do the european servers act like we are in the U.S?

It's the reason they're NOT doing at 11am US time right? We should get the same respect as every other customer

One team working on it doesn't mean the machines are not in physical different locations.

I do lots of remote management for work. It's not that uncommon anymore.

It's not for me anyway it's for every European player. They do it for American players. They have it on their ideal time. It should be the same.

The NA servers are in NA. Texas, but I don't remember if it is Houston or Dallas.
The EU servers are in EU. Frankfurt.

They have had cases where maintenance on the PC NA server caused problems with the PC EU server if it was not taken down at the same time. Whatever problems it caused, I recall it took them the better part of a day to fix it one time it happened.

Maintenance happens when ZOS employees do maintenance.

You do realize they did maintenance based on the PST time because Blizzard is based on the United States West Coast. It isn't to cater to you.

There are only 2 servers, not 4. I just named them.
Lordrichter is correct, they do maint. at the same time because it caused problems when they tried to do as you suggest. So you can have your maint. at the same time as the NA server, or you can have it break and be down all day.
Megaserver IS a thing. I suggest...google...

While I agree with the facts you state, I cringed at your last paragraph. I believe the EU server is the more populated of the 2. Even if it isn't they make a ton of cash from both servers, so I feel that caring for specific nations had nothing to do with it; it's a business model.

Yeah it's a thing on Elder scrolls wiki to describe a singular network of servers. They lack servers and they lack the ability to perform services on them.

The game having maintenance at bad times. Bugs aren't fixed in minor patches. The server was offline for 8 hours on Monday. Don't accuse me of being privileged because they are providing a terrible service for what I paid for. Sub par for 70 pound.

What I'm trying to say is...at times, we all (forum users) need to remember that playing this game is not a right, its a privilege. Always a little too much griping going on here. I am just glad to live in a free country where I can do whatever I want. There are people in the world who don't even have a floor in their shack let alone running water and electricity. Here we are QQ'ing about all our first word problems.

Didnt mean that one server is better or worse. Just be glad to be able to play a game.

Any investor in Europe right now if aware of current issues would sue about the non-standard of game. They have advertised a working server so they need to provide by law in Europe a working server.
