People like you amaze me. If you've been present at all on these forums since console release, you could see the flood of complaint threads.
Maybe you're just lucky, or playing a different game...
I'm playing the same game and I rarely get lag and I'm on the lowest of the low...3 mbps DSL. For the past month it has only been occasional with quest pointers.
People are not even willing to consider that perhaps PART of the problem is their own set up or ISP. Its easier to just complain. Some of it may be server side, but are you sure you have absolutely no problems on your end 24 hours a day every day? Not even an IT pro with a certification in TCP/IP and networking could guarantee that they will have a great connection to all remote systems all the time.

Strictly speaking on xbox 1.

The only complaint I have about this game, which has never been addressed is the combat system. But that is something which I can tolerate quite easily. Every other complaint I had prior was already fixed in prior patches. So, I gotta say that I'm with you on the whole "things have improved." statement. What was so bad about Orsinium?
I played this game from beta till some time after 1.6. The most major complaint I have had was the overall rebalancing that occurred in 1.6 and the effect it had on hybrid mag/stam builds. I've been playing the game again for about two weeks now, and all I notice is how much the game has improved in almost all areas. Perhaps I'm misremembering, but it seems to me that the major issues I faced in the early days, including many skills not working at all (by which I mean, doing nothing whatsoever), with the remaining skills being mostly quite broken, tooltips almost never having any relation to what skills would actually do, characters constantly falling through the world, instances failing to load, or breaking part way through and barring completion, being unable to get kill credit as a healer, jumping while mounted would dismount you, various quests (including the main story quests) were broken to the point of being uncompletable, characters could even be lost to such quests, sometimes when deconstructing instead of deconstructing the thing from your bag it would deconstruct the gear you were wearing...
Could keep going. But I don't think it's fair to say things have only gotten worse. Like I say though, I'm pretty freshly back to the game so maybe I'm missing something. But as long as characters/items aren't accidentally deleting and most skills are associated with some effect, I think things have improved.
Where I think things have gotten much worse is in the actual combat gameplay. The early game is so trivially easy now, where once it was quite challenging. I made a new character and up to level 20 he still regularly 1 shots mobs, and kills packs before they get near him, very disappointing. Player characters need a major, major nerf, maybe just a flat reduction to 1/3rd of current damage in the overworld would do it. Or equivalently, tripling the health of all the lowbie mobs. There's no fun to be had from trivial combat as far as I'm concerned.
Nah the game's working fine.

Along with all the other bugs that have been talked about I have also been noticing issues with object collision such as a roaming boss knocking me through a wall in the sewers so I was stuck in the unplayable zone outside (the views were freaking awesome though) and last night a NB feared me and I ran into a column and became stuck inside during a long awesome battle outside our keep. I couldn't use get me unstuck or log out during the fight so I had to close the program completely and when I tried to load back in I got the unusually long load time screen then got kicked with "can't connect to server" message three times in a row and it wind up taking me 20+ minutes to get back into game.

The fact that ESO is the ONLY game where I get these problems proved that you are wrong...
Dont know anything about consoles, but at least i had some problems in pc also lately. Kinda seems like theres some memory leak, sence after x amount of playing game start to lag so bad in bigger fight's, like in trials. But to be fare i also have several addons, and some of those might couse this. I had this same problem before then it was gone, but now couple of maintaince's ago it appears again. Kinda terrible when your in trial lets say in last boss and all of the sudden fps drops even under 10. Rebooting game fix this always but only for while.
