This game is currently in its worst state since console launch

Pvp and pve are both terribly lag most of the time. Constant lag and crashes in both pvp and pve having me wis hung battlefield 1 would come out so I can stop playing this game. Maybe I'll just get back into the witcher.....

+1 it's ridiculous how many things are broken since DB. And managed to have lag be 10X worse.

Old issues always manage to reappear though, so not a lot of good it'd do to take time to fix them only to have them break again.

I've been playing this game, since the game launched in its beta state. And honestly, the quality of this game has been deteriorating at an alarming rate. With it being especially obvious on consoles. All we can do is hope ZOS either fixes the issue, or reaches out to a company like Blizzard to step-in and fix things. Go back to Witcher 3. I decided to take a break from this game after playing for 4 months in a row. Logged in yesterday to see how it all was do some writs and its just worse!! I can't even get into a fight without the game freezing for every monster I kill.

The game stutters too much in fights now (brand new issue that wasn't there before t least for me). Characters take ages to load, and all that just made me not want to continue playing. I'll give it another few months to see if they fixed it. I hope they do as I do not plan to buy the Dark Brotherhood DLC until the game is stable. At least as it was before they launched IC on PS4.

I'm having a blast playing Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 3 in the mean time.

They need to release one thing at a time, if that one thing works, then go to the next update or change.

They do not have the programming skills to release content containing 50-100 changes or updates at once.

Play while you can in between crashes & load screens because at this rate, the game is probably dead by Q1 next year.

Neverwinter is actually getting better these days.
It went through a tough time and overhaul a few months ago, but there are a lot of friends enjoying it..

And guess what it is lag free and you can actually play your characters because your characters do not get stuck/ unable to log into the game like ESO!!

I really wish the forums had a way to see which platform you are playing on, because I have played since beta and have no lag or any problems unless I am in PvP zones. I'm on PC though and it seems like xbox and ps4 are having major issues.

Definitely in it's worst state since release on PS4. Played 8 hours yesterday and crashed at least 15 times. Along with all the other bugs that have been talked about I have also been noticing issues with object collision such as a roaming boss knocking me through a wall in the sewers so I was stuck in the unplayable zone outside (the views were freaking awesome though) and last night a NB feared me and I ran into a column and became stuck inside during a long awesome battle outside our keep. I couldn't use get me unstuck or log out during the fight so I had to close the program completely and when I tried to load back in I got the unusually long load time screen then got kicked with "can't connect to server" message three times in a row and it wind up taking me 20+ minutes to get back into game.

I'm playing the same game and I rarely get lag and I'm on the lowest of the low...3 mbps DSL. For the past month it has only been occasional with quest pointers.

People are not even willing to consider that perhaps PART of the problem is their own set up or ISP. Its easier to just complain. Some of it may be server side, but are you sure you have absolutely no problems on your end 24 hours a day every day? Not even an IT pro with a certification in TCP/IP and networking could guarantee that they will have a great connection to all remote systems all the time.

What you need to realise is most of happy players won't come to the forums, they just ... play the game. While most unhappy players will come QQ here, leaving the false impression that the majority if players are unhappy.

Dont know anything about consoles, but at least i had some problems in pc also lately. Kinda seems like theres some memory leak, sence after x amount of playing game start to lag so bad in bigger fight's, like in trials. But to be fare i also have several addons, and some of those might couse this. I had this same problem before then it was gone, but now couple of maintaince's ago it appears again. Kinda terrible when your in trial lets say in last boss and all of the sudden fps drops even under 10. Rebooting game fix this always but only for while.

I've been here quite some time, very early closed beta. Trust me when I say I've seen the game in a LOT less polished state. But debating all that is a serious waste of time.

The word "lag" is so general. Latency? Or frame rate? Very different animals - obviously. At least, for heaven's sakes, differentiate. Clear your local saved data.

I do experience some frame rate stuttering on PS4. Many different ways that can be addressed and agree focus needs to be here.

Latency is almost always on client end outside of service interruptions.

So you think it is better to not fix broken things because they might tear up again?

Most of us have accepted that they cant fix the lag and are just hanging in here and playing around in Cyrodiil while we wait for Camelot Unchained to be finished

I feel the lag but thats not an issue for me personally. I have very very good internet here where i live so the lag others feel is not that bad for me.

My problem is how long us console users have to suffer with all the balance issues and bugs. I only play nightblade and many things are braking cloak currently. Tons of people are using Volatile Armour/Vice-cannon and Malubeth which all break cloak. It's sad i have to wait for next DLC in August to see a fix for these issues.

I don't crash as much as i used to though, which is a plus.
