Xbox NA - just went to talk to glirion for the champ daily, and it sounded like suddenly some people started binge-casting area effects. As he was going into his opening lines, the game crashed to dashboard.
If the people who flood certain problem areas with effects also got dumped out for their spam, perhaps they might stop acting like monkeys who just discovered that the little toggle on the wall makes the round thing on the ceiling create light?

✭✭✭✭✭If this is anything like the morons on PC that like to spam at the bank or near crafting stations, ZOS has confirmed that this is harassment and they can and should be reported for this.
People who repeatedly have nothing better to do than disrupt other people's game by showing such stupidity can and are getting banned for it, and rightly so.
If enough people report them, they will be banned for harassment.

On Xbox the larger reasons any of us crash are often more related to existing and long existing issues the devs have decided not to resolve.
I'd be careful suggesting it's other players casting because if so, then this means in PvP a 25 man group or two 25 man groups would cause others to crash just the same. If so then that's not other people causing you to crash but poor game design elements.-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

People who repeatedly have nothing better to do than disrupt other people's game by showing such stupidity can and are getting banned for it, and rightly so.
If enough people report them, they will be banned for harassment.
If it's with the intent to disrupt others aka grief then sure report away. People like myself though may just shoot off skills for fun and see how others respond but do not do it with malicious intent. Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.0 -

Plus they already have the coding, with "Silence" or the ability suppression purple in quest dialog zones in Imperial City.
I think this would be the best solution.
I would also propose adding the immediate area around undaunted enclaves to the list, as well.Why be normal when you can be better?

SublimeSparo✭✭✭✭✭Sometimes on console tthe spamming at the Undaunted enclave can be so that other's looking to group up can see what you are, ie a person in a costume with 2 swords could be a sorc/ nb magick dps or a stam dps or a healer, if i'm looking for just a healer the guy spamming heals is a candidate, or if i'm looking for say a stam dps the guy spamming caltrops, endless hail, steel tornado would be the one to choose.
Might help when text chat comes.
