why pay for eso+?

To support the game developers and show your love and help the game evolve?

Hate people who want's everything for free, think if you paid 10 usd for the game in g2a, you actually bought ZOS and they own you their life.

The subscription is so cheap, why do people even complain about it?

You pay more for any hangout, and even a single hit at the dinner for 1 hour will cost you at least 2 times ..

Less than 2 hours work (or even less than 1 in most countries) and boom you can enjoy the game for a whole month.

Why are you paying for your TV cable? you most likely spend more time playing this game than watching TV, same thing, go complain in their forums.

You and everyone else with this mindset understand nothing of business. No new stuff, dead game. Yea the problems suck, but they do want to fix them. Unlike you, they have a bottom line slamming into their face all the time that they have to meet.

So if I notice that the game is broken and no fixes are being applied, no longer willing to pay for it is having a 'bad understanding of business'?

Not all customers want new content, personally I don't care about the two latest dlc's. In my opinion they are not adding anything but more bugs to the game. I would like to see more improvements to the base game performance and much less lag in Cyrodiil. For me not improving/solving these issues is what is killing the game.

Of course this is all a matter of opinion but don't state that it's bad for business not to release new content, releasing bugged content is probably just as bad or even worse for business imo.

You say that like it hurts them lol

I sub for Crafting Bags too but accept the additional perks as well. However, I do have lag and frame rate lag and stuff but if i let that get me down what kind of gamer would I be? Being an MMO player for so many years gets you used to that stuff lol

You'd be a gamer who lets a company take you for a mug.

That is what you say now until you have a taste of the crafting bag haha

Not really. I have a guild with just me and my wife and 8 inactives. We have 500 slots of shared inventory space which we have never had a problem with so far.

If we start running out of space, we'll create another guild specifically for crafting materials and have the other one for other stuff.

The lag is the worst part. sometimes you have 0-2 fps.
And no it is not my pc unless the game somehow is horrible optimized I run other games perfectly on max settings also online games / mmo's.

The lag comes and goes as well, one minute your fighting a boss no issues then the next your looking at still pictures of the fight.

I've been fairly outspoken with my criticisms with ZOS over their extremely buggy DB release. With that said, ZOS made things right with me after hounding support for several weeks. Before that time, though, I tried to cancel my sub but I simply couldn't. It was the crafting bag.

It's cheap enough to sub, but then again if you sub a few games it add's up. The crafting bag is an arm twister for me.

I sub so ZOS has the money to pay the coders to fix the lag.

If they could wouldn't they have done it by now? I stopped paying because they don't fix the lag. I refuse to pay for crap content like TG and DB without getting any fixes to the base game. Every dlc gives us more buges, no fixes to things like lag, there is just no justification to pay for this game. ZOS should get it's priorities strait, fix those servers, reduce the lag and don't add any stuff until the game works as was promised.

If workers are laid off or the studio shuts down because we stop providing them income, what about the game we love? Are we not also killing it by cutting off its life support?

OP, I'm really sorry you are having these issues. It's very annoying when you see that other people can play with no problems mostly. I'm having a similar issue in Black Desert and it sure puts a sour taste in your mouth.

I think they obviously would like to fix the game so that nobody ever crashes. But there are probably different issues affecting different players. I don't know if on X-Box you have the option of sending them a crash report like we have on PC? Because that might help them gather the information they need to figure out what is going on.

Hopefully, it will actually be fixed for you soon and you'll be able to play without problems. :-)

I know on PC, as long as it is not a freeze or Alt-F4, a crash report is automatically gathered with an additional popup window for extra information from the player. Whether the popup is filled or closed, the report is sent.

    2. Upgrade your PC
    3. Uninstall ESO and forget it ever existed.

That and the crafting bag - I guess. Although I never really had any issues before I had it and it just confuses me now, but, yes, the crafting bag.

Too bad the bugs are on the increase again.

That's sort of the life of an MMO. A ebb and flow of bugs. New content comes in, bringing the bugs with it. They get addressed as more content comes in bringing it's own issues. :p

    That's not lag.

Lag is, you press the buttons, and things don't happen for while. Lag is where you're running around, doing things and then suddenly getting killed because the server finally let you know you're in combat... 30 seconds ago.

Low framerate is not lag. It could be any number of issues including your system or ZOS's. But it's not lag.

You can't play before you buy a base game, and thus such players are not ftp-ers, like those downloading swtor client for free.

It's definitely my opinion - Although i don't know of any source that would be considered "a source".

You are correct it is not F2P because you have to buy the game first.

I paid for Rift and I was paying for a subscription when it went F2P. I quit playing. SWToR - samething.

Many in-games store are done poorly. I would rather pay for the product instead for a game being developed around Mircro-transactions.

Elder Scrolls Online still has a balanced in-game store. Yes they seem to charge a lot of crowns for the brand new stuff. Just as long as I get 1500 crowns a month (and it actually can buy something) I am good.

The F2P MMO industry is pushing me of market. I will go back to single-player RPG's if I have to.

Jokes on u when all ur costume dye is removed when ur subscription ends..

Did they say the dyes are removed when your sub ends? I didn't see that.

All DLCs gained thru subscribtion, Craft Bags and other subscribtion benefits are stripped when a sub runs out. And since the costume dye is for subs only you can only assume that the same rule goes for that..

    1) Unbalanced skills/races/classes (like always) With every other patch couple of builds become invincible while the ones were top builds before become obsolete.
2+ years and they haven't balanced the most crucial aspects of the game....yet!!! Plus every time they change or "fix" a skill or a class we have to deal with numerous conflicts=exploits
    2) Lagggggg Especially prime times and w/ends! Cyro? =Cyrolag
    3) Group finder= forget it.
4)RNG drops/rewards have become the jock of the game It feels more like punishment cause you kill the bosses too many times
    5) Hacks (got better last 10 days tho)
Numerous other small or big problems and bugs reported in this forum daily which i wont mention here

Supporting the game? Sure! But isn't a bit stupid keep paying for a broken game after 2+ years? Lag RNG etc etc are well known issues for over a year and....??? Milking the cow for a "bag"? No thanks i wont buy

    Its a good buy now.

all of this and I never had any connection issues.
but I play on EU, maybe US servers are overloaded?
playing with less options feels like a waste of time because fun is diminshed.
