Why do my skill resets cost 1 gold per skill?

What are you guys on? My Skill Resets are still expensive as hell.

    Same here.

The ones I did "on the day" were cheap, but even if it's the first login since update, after that they've all been as spendy as ever.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

PC had the cheap respecs as well but reverted back to the regular price. This thread won't alert the devs to anything that they don't already know. It will most likely change in the next console update.

I just assumed that the extended time frame was to make up for the fact that console AD players haven't been able to access Grahtwoot without constant crashes and 1-2 weeks of tickets to rescue characters since the Dark Brotherhood update.

As a result, only my veteran characters have been able to utilize the respecs, since they can go to the Gold and Silver zones for them.

I am expecting the price to revert back to the higher cost eventually. But the delay has been giving me time to get the characters that need the respec up to veteran ranks so I can actually do the respec without losing that character to the Grahtwoot void, and so for that I am grateful.

I don't think so, otherwise PS4 would've reverted back awhile ago. I see all sorts of crowds in Elden Root everyday. Xbox I am sure has issues there and that would make your assumption logical but PS4 has been much more stable in comparison.

I play on Xbox, so yes, this is the root of my thoughts. I have no experience with the game on PS4. (Mine was at Sony for warranty repairs when we got ESO, so we got the Xbox version.)

Xbox has been playable since the emergency patch. It still has the crashing issues that have been getting worse with each update, and all my DPS is now AoEs I can cast without targeting since the mobs are invisible 50% of the time, but at least I can get back into the game and rescue my character after the requisite two crashes picking up and turning in key runs in Grahtwoot, so it's much better than before!

... Reading that, this game has really lowered my standards. Heh.

I'd say Xbox players are used to issues lol and I honestly wouldn't blame ya. In fact, I avoid Xbox due to its reputation for being a hot mess in a sense.

And you're the winner. Stupid ZOS advertised the game as 'Play the way you want' then make respec expensive so that you cannot afford to do it often, morons. Play the way you want should allow players to experiment with builds with a reasonable price, it was worse when the game first launched.
I've respecced tons of times. I think it's a great thing that it's cheap as it allows me to explore the characters skills and become a more versatile player that can adapt to many different group combinations and dungeons mechanics. I hope they never change it.

Was changed back to normal on PC 6 days after DB released.

If it's still crazy cheap on consoles it should be fixed.

The respects should always be 1 gold per skill or even 100 because it helps casuals and hardcores players theory craft and switch between PvE and PvP with ease

This should not be changed. For once I am actually having so much more fun changing things around on various characters instead of grinding like mad just so I can respect some skill points.

Zos should look at this and think hey this was just a temporary thing but it's actually worked out for the better and people are actually enjoying themselves more playing our game and giving us more money.
