    The part I'm most confused about is "stand there like a lemon."

    So I googled it and then read a discussion about the origin of the phrase, including the odd fact that it's the same in Italian:

    In general I think the NBs fear CC needs an entire rework when it comes to it's animation. Just like you said I've got a problem and maybe it's lag since I can't compare how it acted when the game wasn't in beta stages around almost 2 years ago to when the game is in it's current beta form.

    Fear I experience breaking free after mashing the combo as if I were playing mario and even that takes about 2 maybe 3 seconds for my character to get out of animation and be on the defence until I regain footing, while the enemy(s) was able to get in a couple hits.

    Dodgerolling needs counters... Many more counters than it has now. I've had to resort to a heavy attack lightning staff build on my dk to counter all the dodge rolling and dodge procs. Completely given up on dodge able abilities because what's the point. I hate fear too... But I deal with it.

    I know MH can't be broke but honestly... the clips in your op don't show the issue at all.

    In the first clip you had no stamina to break free, your stamina bar was blinking like crazy.

    In the second: that is the very first time I see someone trying to break free while in mid air.
    It surely had to let you break free there, though the thing I don't get is, why are you saying that MH made you bounce off the wall?
    That skill surely is flawed, but I really don't think it has the power to bend the physics engine itself.

    Nightblades are the only balanced class power builds go down in a few hit. Tania do little damage. Now miss changes and recovery stacking is not unique to Nightblades. The class skill lines are pretty well balanced with itself.

    Nightblades aren't the best class right now (in either PVP or PVE)? What? They're balanced? Word? Lol.

    Okay. We must be seeing 2 totally different things in PVP, in terms of which class is used the most (and the reasons why). Not to mention which class makes VMA easy mode. But, to each's own. We're all entitled to our opinions. Nonetheless, something definitely needs to be done about Mass Hysteria.

    Well the most played class is nightblade closely followed by Templar. But that's because nightblade is just fun for a lot people. The most effective class in PvP is stam dk. it just has too much sustain and healing, every dueling tournament I've ever been apart of or watched has been won by a stam dk with the worse being magicka nightblade. And as for VMA magicka sorc is just as good as magblade, but yes mass hysteria needs to be looked at along with every cc in the game. I'm tired of unbreakable CCs

    Mass hysteria is not a un breakable CC . Break Free does work on it . It's an unavoidable CC . Just like a lot of AOE attacks are unavoidable unless you get out of area before the attack . It's not witchcraft . Well ... Maybe to some people .

    Yes what I mean about unbreakable is that sometimes break free is broken and it won't allow you to break cc even with full stamina. No cc is technically unbreakable but they are all broken sometimes

    Fear cannot be reliably broken free from before the next hit comes (or the next 4 hits come if the NB uses light attack+skill+bash+ult at the same time). This should be changed so that break free responsiveness is the same regardless of what CC it is used against.

    Agreed, it takes a few bashes to break free, it's sooo unreliable and it does need a rework. I do have a max level NB who uses fear as well so I'm not just saying this because I'm mainly a Templar :p

    @Didaco I haven't got any clips of me genuinely trying to break free yet, plus.. how would you know if I was trying to break free immediately with the clip of in-game footage and my IRL hands on a controller? lol and the point of the first clip wasn't me trying to break free, I know I didn't have enough stamina to break free the whole point of the clips is DODGE ROLLING then being feared. I wasn't aware of fear being un-dodgeable until now, I guess... and I find that stupid anyway.

    The second clip, I've made that same move plenty of times, dodge rolling from that pillar to a safe-ish fall down below and this time my character kept falling sideways, like as if there's no gravity in Tamriel... I don't know how else to explain it but look at the tool tip message just as it happened... Press [both triggers] to break free meaning that I got CC'd WHILE falling, or either while my character kinda landed on the edge of the pillar, but anyway -- I'll try and take better clips.

    1- sorry, I misunderstood the meaning of the first clip by reading all the other comments on how MH is unbreakable.
    Btw I can tell you were trying to break free because your bar was blinking.
    For the fact that the fear kicks in after the dodge roll, could it be a case of latency? I could swear I've been DAMAGED or CC'd in the middle of a roll way more than once.

    2- from the 2nd clip I thought the ledge you accomplished to fall on was one of those on which the character can't stand thus remaing in the fall animation until reaching a proper terrain (for example, try to jump on the roofs of those shacks just outside Orsinium's bank, the character remains in the sliding animation).
    But if say you already tried that manouver, man, I trust you.
    Sometimes though, when I land on the edge of a walkable terrain I get bounced away as if I was hit by a Skyrim's giant lol, maybe the same happened to you, so it's not just MH's fault.

    My issue is more with breaking free. I've noticed people get stuck in mine and I've also been stuck in a fear.

    The music was grade A by the way. Lol
