Gossamer Proc Question

Does Gossamer Proc on self? I hear that Transmutation can proc on self.
If I am playing alone, with no friends near me, can both of these sets proc based on my own healing?

✭✭✭✭Yes, it proc on heal and on HoT, no matter who is target. And same to transmutation it don't proc if you at full hp.1

Depends on class. Spamming just sweeps as magicka templar can grant 90% proc time. More HoT - more procs.
However, unless you plan to use it with Tava, this set much worse for solo players than Amberplasm or Mazzatun.

Hmm.... Okay then. I've decided that when Update 11 arrives, I will only ever play Magicka Sorc, Stamina Sorc, and Magicka Templar anymore. Easier to manage, and I have already setup/theorycrafted my Sorcs. Magicka Templar is the tougher part.
For my Magicka Templar, I had planned on running 5x Transmutation (3 armor 2 swords), 5x Gossamer (3 jewelry, 2 armor), 2x Molag Kena, and a Maelstrom Restoration Staff.
It seems that 5x Gossamer & 5x Tava's, or 5x Transmutation & 5x Cyrodiil's Light/5x Mazzatun are smarter setups. Still going to look at what else I can use. I only really run solo in PvP btw.
The Tava's/Gossamer setup sound fantastic for a Magicka DK, but might not be ideal for a Templar.
Just my thoughts now.
