Hypothetically what dollar value would you put on your account if you could sell it?

I have been playing hard core for around 2 years now and have accumulated 7 toons (5 all maxed out), nine traits on all crafting, maxed out mounts on 5 toons, tons of stuff in the bank with 1000’s of crating materials for every profession, lots of gold items for PvE and PvP….the list goes on.

If I was going to put a value on all my time and possession I have in ESO it would be $10,000. How about you?

And now ask yourself if someone came to you and offered $2k or $5k for it, would you refuse? :P
P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

i only have one maxed out char (300cp) but that doesn't matter. How important the account is for me is what matters.
    I say about 7.000€
When i paused a few month ago i would've sellid it for less, maybe 3.000€

Of course i wouldn't sell it with the linked e-mail account or anything.

Edit: I have about 700 hours on my main char. So 7.000€/700 hours are 10€/hour. That's a good wage for playing a game :P

Even though they say that a fool and his money are soon parted, it would not be parted, at least in this case. I would decline.

If you're willing to trade it that easily, then it's not your most prized possesion ;)

I look at it this way. Would I pay a dime for someone else account. The simple answer is no, so while I value my characters overall the final answer is 0 dollars.

Many many years ago my brother played WoW, someone offered him $3,000 for his account.

With that being said, I value my time. I suppose I might sell it for $10,000.

Even if you were able to sell your account, if I'm understanding what your reference to an account is. I can't see any value into it. Hypothetically speaking, of course, if I were to buy your account, from whatever outrageous or maybe fair pricing it may be, then I would be getting everything you have accomplished, right? That would include all your accomplished CP points and all quests, achievements and other stuff within ESO done. If as a new player, that would lose any and all part of experiencing the game from the beginning. As a current or veteran player, I would have no interest whatsoever in buying someone's else account or experience. However, if selling one or two of your toons or characters.. that would be something, and I can see that as being more of a value.

That's not why people buy accounts or levels. It's not new players who buy them, it's seasoned players who might need an alt account but has no time or willpower to grind it, or people who have lost accounts and need a new one ASAP so they can continue to do the endgame content or PvP without re-doing months and even years worth of grinding, questing, achievements etc to get back where they were before.

There is a reason games like WoW sell max levels in their shop, and it's understandable why people buy them. And I can assure you, for the most part it's not "new" players who buy them.

Don't you get it.. people want this. They don't want to start at level 1 and experience everything ESO has to offer. They want maxed out horses, 8 vet characters, the best armor, all the skyshards and books collected. On top of that, they want 501 CP points.

This is what people want, they don't want to play the game. My price just went up $20,000 :) Take it or go grind :)
