BUG No Loot From World Bosses

I've found that seemingly randomly I'll not get any loot from world bosses in Wrothgar and Gold Coast (I haven't tested any other zones as these are the ones I do dailies in). It doesn't appear to matter if I'm in a group or not, if I'm doing the quest or not, when I join the fight, or whether I die or not. Anyone else having this issue? It's gotten to the point where more often than not I'm not able to loot the bosses.

There is a cooldown effect of about 8-15 minutes. So if you loot the boss you need to wait a bit before they drop anything again

Hmm, are you doing a lot of damage?

Not overly as I am a tank. I take lots of damage rather than deal it.

In order to get a loot drop off a boss you have to be in the top 10 or 20 for damage (I forget which). So if you're hitting these with a large group, it's entirely possible to miss out on drops because you're simply not doing enough damage.

And people wonder why tanks are difficult to come by.

Our Wrothgar world boss group has disproved this (for the WBs, at least). We've had people get drops who sat on their mounts the entire time.

Unless your healing you have to do 10% damage to a world boss to get loot access.

DB patch seems to have radically reduced the chance for good rewards from World and Delve bosses in the fifteen base zones. Now, it seems like the "good" reward in a CP160 zone is a white CP160 item. The blues still drop, but seem to have radically decreased in frequency.

Perhaps YMMV, but the difference I've seen is so large that stealth nerf seems like the only likely explanation.

You are doing one World Boss a day, or your doing all the World Bosses once a day?

If you kill a Boss too soon after killing another one, you may not get a Boss Loot drop. In most cases, it will take the cool down timer to get back to the Hostel, turn in the quest, figure out what the group wants to do next, share the quest, then get everyone assembled. But, a tight group can certainly kill the bosses too fast.

Not sure if this is even official or applies to world bosses, but people always say for Molag Bal in sewers, only 12 people are able to loot him. If 16 people are there fighting him, for 4 people his body wont be lootable. Maybe this applies to world bosses in wrothgar etc also.

I heard this too, but I have done World Bosses in very large groups and gotten Boss Loot Drops. It does not seem to matter how many are in the group. I am not sure about the amount of damage you need to do either, as I know in some fights I did next to no damage (in fact, on one Guild Event, I leveled a Resto Staff to L26 just doing the Bosses one night in Wrothgar, so I was just healing, and not very much at that. I got 4 Blue Set Pieces, a Purple set piece and one dropped decon trash. Now, that group with the Guild was only 12 people, and this was two weeks ago.

As people have said only time I have failed to get loot is when more than 12 people fight a boss. Have found if I just spam healing (if they need it or not) I always get loot but if I do direct damage I might not get loot. I suspect healing has a higher return than damage,

Some world boss events come in waves ( Kvatch arena, Nature's Bounty). Sometimes when i join in too late, there's no loot, but i always assumed that it's because i didn't do enough dps in comparison with players who were there since event beginning.
