Character Restoration

Ok so I thought I'd post on here because I'm really getting frustrated now. I left ESO months ago because I wasn't enjoying the game. This was before the Orsinium dlc. I just came back and am trying to get my character returned yet I'm being told it's not possible despite the absurd amount of info on him I provided, even a picture I had of his character sheet (was comparing stats). My frustration comes from the fact that as of this post I've waited 4 days to be told it's not possible yet I've been seeing on the forums other people can and have had guys returned and for the most stupid reasons. If someone else at ZOS could help with this that would be much appreciated. I don't mean to sound rude but come on completely unfair.

Character Info: Name: A'sha Mheá, Wood Elf, Faction: Aldmeri Dominion, level 20

I assume it's the time period. Most people that I've heard of that have had characters restored only deleted them very recently. It may not be possible to recover a character from "months ago" as the character database from that time has likely been overwritten since.

I appreciate your input but I'm not buying that. I stop playing before Orsinium dlc. Even so I didn't delete my guy at that time. :( still waiting to have this ticket resolved. # - 160704-001506

I know it's not what you want to read, but: if your wood elf was just 20 then create another one with that name and in a few days (very few) it will be 20, too. Takes not that long nowadays.
Of course you can wait another 4 days or longer. Would bet you are faster with your new elf hitting the 20 than ZOS resolving your ticket. (Maybe I'm wrong... maybe not...)

I have to agree that re-creating an L20 character would be easier and faster than waiting for ZOS to tell you that they can't recover a character file.

It would be one thing if it was a Vet Character or a Master Crafter with most or all Traits known, but you can make an L20 in a matter of hours. If you put gear on with the Training trait it will go even faster, even doing the content.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
