i apriciate that they are receiving an incresed amout of help requests but it doesnt change how frustrated i am to have my best dungeon character trapped!
Beta ended 2 and 1/2 years ago. Pay someone out of your own rich, overflowing pockets to fix the *** that us, the paying customer pays them for.

I don't go to Wrothgar much anymore, due to the latency issues the zone seems to have and I'm not entirely clear how someone is getting permanently? stuck in loading limbo? Is that what is happening? Like, not able to log into character?
Not sure I completely understand what it is that is happening to OP.
It has happened to me and many others i know. You travel into Wrothgar using the Shatul wayshrine (because Orsinium wayshrine is just a complete no) and run down to turn in your writs and then run back north to the Shatul wayshrine to leave. During that time, you can crash and then everytime you try to log into your character, your game crashes during the load screen. It took them NINE days to move a character of mine that was stuck in this crash cycle.0 -

basically if your crashed to xbox or ps4 dashboard while your inside orsinium (not wrothgar just the city) all attempts to log on to character result in you getting sent back to dashboard. and since orsinium is a high traffic area (and i asume has some type of bug in the core of its coding) crashing while you are there is a frequent occurance
the official advice you are sent via automated response is to do a hard reset on your console, clear saved data and close all other apps
(this is for xbox - i have no idea what ps4 Pc or Mac are told but i would assume its similar)
this may or may not work for the majority - but it has never worked for me
i had 2 characters stuck there for a week they were there when DB launched, and i was unable to access them
after tuesdays patch i went there because i was under the impression the patch had fixed it. i took a new character that i was prepared to 'sacrafice' to the void for a few days initially - eveything worked fine - so i switched to my tank to do my writs and she was trapped
i beleive the reason my 1st attempt was fine, but my other character got trapped has to do with the number of people who logged on, i did my test run, the minuite the patch downloaded with few people online, by the time i had picked up/completed and was handing in my writs there were SO many people just stood in orsinium,

my rich overflowing pockets, i dont have pockets, let alone rich overflowing ones
if you had read the comment i was replying to you would of seen that someone was chastising someone for going to orsinium when it was known to be broken. i was pointing out that last tuesdays patch was supposed to have resolved said issue, and i went there to test it.
