Wrothgar loading issues

The dlc zone Wrothgar constantly kicks me out when trying to load my sorcerer up and do his dailies, I want a partial subscription fee since I'm paying for two and cannot load in my sorc. I am pretty upset and wanting to play on my sorcerer.

It's def struggling at mo. When you do get in, I do my writs elsewhere then go to Shatul wayshrine and travel down to Orsinium. So you only go like 10m into town. Not ideal but...workaround

I tried using the Shatul wayshrine with another character. I turned in my writs and was disconnected to the dashboard. I can't load that character now.

Same, I got kicked earlier from the game in Wrothgar, decided it was time to quit for the day, came back, and have been kicked 4 times from game after 2 seconds of being in game. This needs fixed immediately, this is a major place to go, and we cannot even be there for SECONDS without having our characters perma-locked??

Keep submitting tickets over and over until the developers move your character to another zone.

Been stuck in Wrothgar since Friday. Kicked to dash a few seconds after I load in. Filled out multiple tickets no response..

If you are able to open up your map, try fast traveling out to the nearest wayshrine. I got stuck not too long ago and that is how I got out. It took quite a few attempts. In the future, try traveling to the Shatul wayshrine and walk/ride into Orsinium. It's the only way that I can complete my writs.

I've been stuck in wrothgar since last week. I haven't been able to load my character that's stuck in their. I think it's the giant moving water wheel that causes all the problems.

have 2 characters stuck there, one of them is no where near the main city (they were handidng in their delve a day), havent had access to either of them for 7 days now. multiple tickets submitted - no response. posted on a different thread here in the forum - no response

So the current fix to this is to keep trying with either multiple loads or tickets. I mean, come on zos. Imagine if this was your only toon.

This is so annoying. I have 4 160 Champion Point characters (I have 592) that all have at least one Crafting writ to turn in. I do them in Stonefall Davon's watch and try to turn in in Wrothgar ( I don't dare mount up) and make it back out with out crashing. My DK just crashed 5 times. It only does Provisioning. I just did my Nightblade which does Provisioning and Clothing and it had one mid loading screen and one crash. I have been on for an hour and it took me that long to turn in crafting writs on two characters. My Templar which does Provisioning and Alchemy got one mid loading screen in Daven's watch (not even that is safe which is concerning because a new player would think of this game) and one mid loading screen in Wrothgar for the turn in My Sorc which does the most crafting Enchanting, Blacksmith, Clothing and Woodworking got one mid loading screen in Davons and crashed once in Wrothgar turn in. An hour and half to do my crafting writs. I have spoken with people in my Guild and everyone is seeing the same thing. I have played this game since beta on the PC, played on the PC and transferred to Xbox One. I am so grateful for the crafting bag but this issue is so irritating that I may quit this game.

I've had the same problem. I was told to close the game, delete the local saved data for the game (I dare not delete all as some have suggested), turn off and pull the plug from the xbox for 5 mins or so. Restart, restart the game (it will re-sync your data with the server) and log in to character and get the hell out of Dodge (wait for a minute or two before moving, and then SLOWLY) - which has worked for me on a few occasions now.

Needless to say, I now avoid Orsinium altogether, apart from creeping in to turn in my writs as others do. It's a shame it's a great city, but now sadly a complete ghost town!

Wrothgar itself seems fine, although sometimes I get loading screens when going into a new gird. Sometimes I also get a warning somethings up though as the Framerate drops, in which case I just stop and wait a few seconds for it to load the graphics overlays, framerate improves and move on.

I know it's not ideal, but it's at least making Wrothgar playable.

There is mounting evidence also that if you have more than one character in Orsinium then it will severely increase the possibilities of crashing. If you can (which again I did) repeat the above process and get your other characters to another location (preferably a nice quite town).

It will not delete your character if you delete all. It will delete local saved data and data on your XB1 Live account. Both will be reloaded/resync'd the next time you login.

You will need to adjust the screen parameters as this saved data is removed with a delete all ......

This backs up the logic that its a memory leak thats causing the problems in Orsinium - shutting down and unplugging the XBox will give it time to completely empty the RAM, and deleting the Save file means it might not attempt to load so much information at the next startup, saving on memory space.

Stuck in wrothgar!

Kcant even load in it crashes on the loading screen in to orsinium.

That's me with no crowns and a stuck character.

Anyone managed to overcome this

I literally just purchased a sub 2 hours ago. Went to Wrothgar, made it to Orsinium - crashed, now I can't get back in. My only character.

Try the following. While your character is loading hold up on the left stick. It's seems to work to get your characters out of the "stuck" zone. And then just stay away from the city.

I also tried this and was still not able to move my new character from Orsinium.

In Wrothgar crashed now in CRASH LOOP can't get out.
Tried all the usual. Hard reset. Pushing movement joystick up while loading in.
Throwing controller...nothing works.
This is embarrassing.
The worst part is they force you to hand in writs there. You don't have any choice to hand them in anywhere else.
I have 7 characters. Cant risk taking any more to that damned DLC area that I paid EXTRA money for.
At least the gold.coast and Here's Bane only crash to dashboard...

Weird thing is I was able to do my writs today on my main character so I thought my new one would be safe in Orsinium. Now, she is stuck. *cry. I just wanna lvl my dk.
