Minor Slayer/Moondancer Significantly Underpowered

After testing Minor Slayer myself as well as watching and looking through other people's research, it has become very apparent that Minor Slayer (5% to Bosses) is underwhelming and, in most cases, a DPS loss. Given that it comes on what is supposed to be BiS/Progression Trials gear, this needs to be reevaluated. Both Minor Vulnerability and Minor Berserk are 8%. I believe Minor Slayer should be bumped to 8% as well. This would bring it in line with other buffs/de-buffs

Likewise, the Moondancer 5x bonus is also underwhelming. While Alkosh, Twilight Remedy, and Lunar Bastion all provide useful bonus, Moondancer is not useful and extremely hard to control. Please, ZOS, rework this bonus. Maybe something like 374 Spell Damage and 189 Recovery 100% of the time (rather then more of either)? Something to make it pop as it is supposed to be progression gear.

It would be wonderful to see adjustments to these make it into DB! Give us End Game PvE'ers sets to work towards that matter!

While I'm on the topic, I appreciate the time and effort that went into rebalancing Scathing Mage. The set final feels right; more DPS then TBS/Julianos but not out of line with what is expected for Endgame gear.

    I had the same result. I replaced skoria for 3 piece aether for 5% more damage and actually lost damage. How can 5% more damage be so bad, I don't get it, is it bugged?

    Minor Slayer should be 7-8%. Nearly everyone I know who's managed to use Moondancer or Aether agrees. As for Moondancers bonus at 5pc, I agree that either/or drives me crazy.

    I did some testing as well and 3 Pieces of Moon Dancer was a DPS loss VS the spell damage you get with 1 Molag Kena and 2 Torugs Pact. Also with ranged Magicka DPS the opportunities to hit synergies are rare, since I don't need blazing spears, so having the buff proc on synergies is almost completely useless for me.

    I personally would like to see it changed to ~200 Spell Damage VS boss monsters. That way it is a powerful bonus for most builds, but does not risk getting scaled out of hand on others like a stat of 8% might.

    most synergies are used as melee. Moondancer is magicka set, and magicka usually are ranged like nb or sorc.
    So agree with you there, its not the strongest set.
    The minor slayer 5%, is still better then for example a weapon dmg stat tho, so its still a must as BiS end game.
    But yeah, it wouldnt hurt to but those buffs at 8% , you have a point there.
