I don't even understand. I am so against zerging and everyone who actually knows me or my play style knows I cringe at groups over 4. How am I zerging? I mean look.at the skill level of the DC players in this video. They are all seriously dangerous players who play at a high level. I get Zzzz of the zerg whispers.....Please check this out and leave your comments to include the good bad and ugly...it is all welcome.

If so, people say all sorts of stupid things when they lose, often contrary to reality.

Those (generic use of the term, not specifically these people) 5 DC's would probably be cool with 5 v 1 ing some guy who bumps into them, but would probably be the first to scream foul when they get 10 v 5 or 15 v 5, even though the odds are actually better.

I think people feel like they have been 'zerged' when the odds meant they couldn't survive.

The video is just open world PvP. You are in a group of 2, but there are lots of pugs running everywhere for both sides.

The odds in situations changed, sometimes in your immediate areas, you were outnumbered, sometimes with the weight of pugs in frame, the opponent was outnumbered.

Did you zerg? No. Did someone feel like they got zerged, most probably some of the last to die who had 4-6 people targeting probably felt like they got zerged down.

I wouldn't worry about it, set up an honour duel if you feel the need to defend your honour.

Negative sir. Posting on my cell phone has been an experience.....The question though? Do you consider this zerging?

Two threads in Alliance War, One thread in Campaigns, One thread in PvP Combat and Skills. I don't think you were intentionally zerging in the gameplay. I do think you're zerging the forums.

What did we see here? This can't be true. Lord Fengrush could never die to even numbers. He valiantly slaughters thousands against his Holy Group Size.

Lets consult the book of Armaments Chapter Two Versus 9 Through 21 on Proper Group size.
    maxresdefault.jpg

And Saint Attila raised his hands up high, saying, "O Lord, bless this GROUP SIZE, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large chu...

Cleric: And the Lord spake, saying, "First thou shalt Make a Group. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then thy GROUP is complete and shall be released towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.

Solid player or not, people can get very childish when they die. All sorts of insults are thrown around, not just upon death though, also when killing other players. Easiest way to deal with stuff like that is to put the person/people on ignore.

Agreed. I usually respond with  .
I'm curious however if you see me zerging in the video. I don't see anyone directly answering that? Or hell any of my videos on my page.

At about the 40 second mark you can see about 9 people attacking 3-4 DC. So to answer your question No you're not zerging technically, but if you look at it from the DC PoV it definitely looks like it.

I think the better question is why do you care what other players think ? Are you enjoying the game ? Are you breaking any rules ?

If you're not breaking any rules and you're having fun , I don't see any reason to bother asking what others think . In PvP , you'll always get criticism if you looke for it .

I posted it because I can't imagine with the skill level of the players in the video that someone around cried wolf with the "really? You zerg me down"?

Other than wanting feedback from the community I think the video is entertaining as well and thought others might like it.

Rec - there are mixed opinions when it comes to zerging. a solo player will call a 2v1 zerged down - a 4man group will call a 8 man group a zerg and so on....

My opinion - if you run in a group / regardless if ur in their TEAM - but hugging a huge ball above the group cap limit, then ur ZERGING :)

With the grp cap being 4 or 24 for that?

Regarding the video: No it´s simple open world pvp with mediocre/bad positioning on part of the DC players. Don´t try to have dinner on the autobahn.

However those situations can get zergy when people dying put op camps or ride back on horse. That´s just poor sportsmanship imo.

Well the term Zerg is relative , a zerg is essentially more players than needed to kill someone. So a 2 v 1 can be considered a zerg.

I probably shouldn't say anything here but lets all be real about the term zerging. If you are unsure of the meaning let me help you all out: urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=zerg. I am certain that for ESO and our very distinct form of PVP, we never do this. In fact i am certain that zergs do not exist in ESO. The rumors of such things are strictly part of the ESO's Urban myths that was created by players who have long since left the game for reasons unknown. Do not become overly concerned with such trivial classifications as they simply are not possible.
