Platform? Server? Where are you playing from?
Submit a ticket or PM an admin here to get your Wrothgar character moved. Although this week's patch is supposed to have fixed the issue (I've no idea if it has or hasn't) that's not for characters already stuck there and they will need to be moved by ZOS.
The black silhouettes when you enter an area are both intentional and desirable, they were introduced at the request of PvPers who were being jumped by characters that didn't appear immediately when entering an area, although from a PvE perspective I prefer it the way it was as they rather spoil my "immurshun"!
I can't comment on the rest of your problems as I've never encountered them, but check out the technical support forum for your platform and see if anyone can assist.

I love The Elder Scrolls Online I really do, you can tell just from how many hours I've spent in this game and the money I've invested into it £138 excluding the game itself but lately I'm starting to wonder why I bother because I've been putting up with lag and really bad frame rate issues for nearly 8 months, ever since the Orsinium DLC I can't run through city's without having the games loading screen pop up at least 3 times or my character looking like he is in a blender glitching all over the place and even sometimes it just crashes or kicks me off to the dashboard.
lately its become so bad that the NPC's are invisible for at least 10-20 seconds, this applies to enemy NPC's too so as you can imagine getting killed off invisible enemy's can be rather annoying don't you think? I have contacted the support team and the support they offer me is laughable, they suggest I reset me router or clear my system cashe or reinstall the game... its frustrating to be given such poor support and I have recently messaged them again only to receive a copy and paste from the last guy who I was in talks with.
I don't want to make a big deal out of this I just want to be able to enjoy the game so underneath I will list all my performance issues and hopefully someone can detect what the problem is and offer me a solution
Extreme lag.
Frame rate issues.
It seems worse whilst on a mount sprinting.
Sound stuttering during the frame rate issues.
The game freezing then kicking me off to the dashboard.
NPC's take more then 10-20 seconds to become visible even enemy ones.
Other real players appear as black silhouettes for a while.
Viewing the map is also very laggy.
Random loading screens where there shouldn't be.
Sometimes really long loading times.
Textures don't load
I am on Xbox One and the European server. My internet is 50mbps and these issues listed only happen on TESO not on any other game and I currently can't load up the game any more because I am in wrothgar so I physically cant even play the game any more.

It has nothing to do with immersion, kid. The silhouettes wouldn't be so bad if they didn't last for upward of ten minutes in any given city.
They only last a few seconds for me, and for many people it is to do with immersion in that in PvE areas it's less immersion-breaking to have a few invisible players you're not interacting with anyway rather than a few black silhouettes running around.
On a point of information, if you feel the need for a term with which to address me, "old chap" would be more appropriate in my case than "kid"!

I couldn't even care less about the silhouettes to be frank. Give me black silhouettes all day every day if the cities would stop stuttering and popping in load screens every 10 seconds.

That's great for you, but for the majority of the console users, silhouettes last much, much longer. If you paused from White Knighting and read the forums, you'd know this is a common complaint.

Actually, I was trying to berate you a bit since you felt the need to berate others, which was evident from your spelling of "immersion." I could care less how old you are, since I just might be older than you.

Lighten up fellow pensioner, lighten up. I wasn't berating anyone (I'm as keen on immersion as anyone as I made clear in dislike of the black silhouettes, it's just become a joke on this forum to misspell it and I did put it in quotes for that reason), I was just answering those issues I'd encountered and offering advice to the OP on how to approach resolving the others.
I can appreciate that the console version is having some problems at the moment, but of course at the time I wrote my original comment the OP hadn't edited his post to inform us which platform (and server) he was on.

Lighten up? I wish I could. On the contrary, I am angry. I am angry at having paid a monthly subscription for a defective product. I am angry at myself for not cancelling my subscription months ago because I believed ZOS when it said that fixes were on the way. I am angry that customer "support" has been far less than "supportive." I am angry that ZOS, through customer support and employees on the forums, continue the copy /paste advice: power cycle your console, walk slowly through town, wait a while before moving when you've wayshrined in at Orsinium.

I am sad for your anger but at the same time I am happy because I now see that I am not the only one furious with this game and the laughable support we receive. I have spent a grand total of £200 on this game, this includes DLC, ESO membership and of course the game itself, now I know I wont be able to get a refund for the game itself but I am going to try very hard to get a refund for the £140 I have spent on in game content which as it stands I can't even play! I feel I am well within my rights to ask for a refund at this point.

Doesn't excuse lashing out at those not related to your problem though. Whenever I get angry my mood may be rather putrid but I take nothing out on anyone that didn't fuel my fire.
I do not suffer from most of these issues strangly. I have been a sub since the launch of ESO and i continue to sub to the game. I understand where you are coming from but stuff such as the npcs taking time to load could be a hardware issue and not the game its self.

The only thing that could remotely be considered as "lashing out" at Tandor is my use of the term "Kid." I explained why I did it. He explained why he wrote what he did. We moved on. The conversation changed. You're bringing it back up.

That is exactly what I thought too but they haven't fixed a damn thing, this is the second patch in the space of about 3 weeks, they took the servers offline for about 8 hours both times and upon reading the patch notes they have changed a lot but absolutely nothing relating to the invisible NPC's or the stupid loading screens we have to deal with. As I mentioned I have contacted them many many times but they give me dreadful support... I am on Xbox one on the European server
