Same here, I bought Arkham Knight and all of it's dlc for $25 which is cheaper then the $30 I paid for Orsinium a couple months ago. It's sad that it's still not fixed as not only was it wasted money but I was really enjoying it before the 16GB DB update broke it to the point that I had to request my character be moved out of the Orsinium tavern. My plan was to playthrough Orsinium with my friend then download DB and play that...not gonna waste my money twice on broken stuff.Thank goodness I just picked up a couple cheap games on the Xbox Ultimate Summer Sale.

I have 2 stuck in the wrothgar bank and 1 standing right near the writs hand in location and everytime I try to load those characters in I'm dashboarded back to the home screen. I have several friends that can't get their characters out of wrothgar so it's not just me. I've tried everything! Deleting my game same data, hard reset everything and I can't load any characters that are in wrothgar city
Okay, so these were characters that were stuck before today's patch? We can get someone to move your characters and see if that does the trick. May we get the character names, what platform you're on, and what region? (NA or EU)
Gamertag: Unsent Soul - xbox 1 NA server
Character name: Unsent Soul - stuck in a Neverending load/crash

Since then have sustained I don't know how many crashes. Crashed while standing still and waiting for it to load, crashed while trying to move the heck out of the city, sometimes crashed back to dashboard before getting out of the loading screen, sometimes just plain failed to load the character and went right back to dashboard.
So...this problem was NOT fixed and I am warning everyone on the XB1 platform to stay the heck out of Orsinium until we have solid assurances that the issue is resolved.
In the past hour I have made it from the bank almost to the waterwheel. Almost...I am hoping that if I can make it that far it will be stable enough for me to leave that accursed place.
So...fix the damn crashes. Also, until they are fixed please move the writ turn in to a different location, well away from that city. And maybe give us another bank in Wrothgar that isn't in the city.

ZOS should disable AoE in these areas would help a lot.

They did put out a completely ignorant post in a thread today. Can't remember the name but may have been xbox 1 not fixed.
A response I'd assume would come from a game being played in alpha/beta...

FFXIV, Neverwinter, DCUO, Warframe, Eve online fps forgot name, Tera online is coming out next year on consoles, Planetside, probably a few others. What other game is there Clarkieson? Just curious what my other options are.
Maybe I should have tried Guild Wars 2. Too bad that is not on console though. Well there is always Star Trek I guess, that is coming to consoles soon correct? Not sure when though.

Client side patches aren't going to fix that. My assumption is that the server/network infrastructure at ZOS can't cope with the amount of load it's under at peak times. The lag, crashes, random loading screens and delays whilst npcs load in are all symptoms of the infrastructure not coping with the amount of network traffic. This would explain why no issues were seen during internal testing, as they can't replicate half a million concurrent users.
If that's the case, we won't get a patch to fix it. ZOS will need to invest in the hardware that can cope with increased bandwidth requirements (servers, switchers, routers, aggregators etc). If this is true, why can't they be honest about it and tell us we'll need to wait for the upgrades to go in?

They posted a few earlier the likes of:
Player: still can't log In to my character In Wrothgar.
ZOS: Have you tried waiting a little while at the wayshrine like we suggested?
Player : I...Can't...Log....In......
