Does Zos care/respect our money?

It has been a while since I tried to get my forum invitation to start this post, mainly with that question: Does Zos team care/respect our money? They certainly care about our money otherwise they game would be free to download. But it's like a fair trade due their hard work and investment. However, after playing for several months on Cyrodill at Azura campaign, I've noticed several complains about cheaters (suck as Braidas), complains followed by evidences about exploits being perhaps ignored by Zos Team and the most important the unban list.

It's well known that those cheaters have been ruining and creating a toxic atmosphere at Cyrodill and that may also lead to a downhill of players in game. Not to mention, and that would be in my case, my complete lack of interest to keep supporting this game by buying implements and MODs. And the reason is simple: I don't see Zos Team taking care of these fair and numerous reports and the most important the mentioned unban list.

Before these issues scale up and people actually start to stop playing for the implements as well or the rent, I suggest you really take care of these reports and keep the ban list forever. Every respectful game keeps the ban list, supporting the numerous fair players around. Yet, if your concern is about Cyrodill, then make the ban only available for that area so the cheaters would still be able to use the non-pvp areas. I thank you for your time and I hope you truly understand the meaning of this thread.

I honestly have no explanation why certain high profile and well-known cheaters never seem to be punished.

It would probably take an organized campaign of the top streamers to plaster their antics all over their streams and encourage their hundreds and thousands of viewers to all mass report them until ZOS finally took action and PERMANENTLY banned them.

3-day bans for game breaking exploits seems pretty pointless, and unfair to paying customers.

EDIT: Honestly at this point I have completely abandoned the entire aspect of the game that is Cyrodiil and PVP in general. The only way to become Emperor is to cross-faction AP feed to compete with all the people that are doing this, or play legit with a GREAT group 24/7 which is generally not humanly possible.

Right now! ZO$ focus is on PvE content!

( it also means, that they are running away from PvP and taking a more easier task like PvE content . But sadly, the more they sell their box to new players, the more rant, rage, etc will increase because every player ends up in cyrodiil, and thats where the game really shines.)

First, naming and shaming as you have done is against forum COC. It can get your post edited at the least, or closed, and you banned ( how is that for irony? >:) ).

But you are correct. Banning cheaters for only a few weeks sends a message that will only encourage more cheating. Shame, zos, shame!

Yet you guys made clear that most likely ZOS care less about our money in regards the PvP, but PvE, I still believe the only way to cast cheaters away would be through reports, videos and alike and the maintenance of a perma ban.

However, ZOS could still get their honest money from PvE atmosphere and for that they would just need to ban those cheaters from PvP areas but allowing the mto keep playing/paying on PvE areas. that would solve the issues.

But cheaters are a problem in PvE too, ever heard of 'leaderboards'? ZOS refused to reset the leaderboards even after some were supposedly banned... and players here were outraged, and rightfully so.

yeah, I think so. it's hot hard to read their 'behind the scenes ' for update 11 and say they don't listen. I get the impression that they're a small team with big ideas and very full plates trying to bring somethig new to the world of mmos. Sofar I think it's working. We need to keep in ,mind that eso is b2p, there's no mandatory subscription. I'm sure they make a lot of money, but that often times goes to the parent company o]to finance other bs.

What they are giving us is a massive playingfieldm great graphics, quality storyline, in a game that you inly need to pay once to play. tbh that's quite a bargain. It is the reason battlefield 4 is still so popular, you can just keep playing it.

I don't have any habored negative feelings toward zos. they offered ,e a product thst appealed to me, I bought it, and have gotten quite a lot of conte t for it sofar.

As others have said this will be locked because ZOS want all discussions on cheating/exploiting in this thread. LINK

I think ZOS care about their community and do want to keep everyone happy. However this issue seems like something they were not ready to deal with and they're not entirely sure how to.

It also seems that the upper management who dictate and direct the games direction and developer resources are very detached from the community and what they want. Often when I hear/read interviews with Matt I have no idea where he got the impressions and ideas he speaks about. I could be wrong but it really does look like he and others at the top only look at data and not what the people are saying.

Even with that the forums community is still a small and vocal part of a larger gaming audience which seem happy with the game.

Quite simple, that part, where the majority is playing, is pretty good, runs well and does not have a lot of problems. It does not have lag, it plays pretty smooth - most of the problems pointed out on the forum are not their concern at all due to that.

And if there are temporary problems, most will not be affected that much, because they play casual - it will not impact them in the same way like it does impact hardcore players. So there is not a real reason to complain loudly. The majority is pretty happy with the game.

    What is a Braidas?

Looks to be a player name...but I don't know. It could be a PvP term (I don't PvP, so I don't have a dog in this hunt). Cheaters should be punished though, regardless of where it happens in the game.
