Fastest way to level Dark Brotherhood skill line

Anyone have any tips? This is agonizing. The load screens. They're everywhere. Why can't I just fast travel straight into the DB sanctuary! There's always two guaranteed loadscreens in between the shrine and the sanctuary :s
Anyway. Any tips on which quests/actions actually level it up most efficiently? I thought every quest in Gold Coast would help but no

You get a daily quest that's worth 10...that's the one that ports you into a cave or wherever to kill someone with the optional objectives. Then you have the ones at the book that you can spam all day, and they are worth 5. I'm not sure there is anything else.

Stupid loadscreen and invisible guards got me busted and so I failed part of the "optional objective" and it doesn't allow us to reset that optional objective :(

Does that mean less XP towards the skill line or just lower quality reward?

If you grind the contract kill target quests, you can master DB in a day. Also, every level you get a mission from the main quest line that gives 20 ponts.

I've just done the daily sacrament quest each day on most my characters. 10 points for sure, 20 points if you complete all optional objectives. My lowest DB character is at lvl 9 already and I think started DB a week later than the rest.

My first character did the speed thing... to max out as fast as possible. It's boring and too time consuming dealing with the load screens for just 5 points a job

So you love stealing stuff, huh?! For me, DB was very easy! due to my infinite cloak, it was like "murdering everyone, I see". Also, my legerdemain skill was very low, in TG.

I'm a NB, so infinite cloak, yep... Plus, I have a master crafter, so India potions if needed as well! Lol... But, TG has variable reward board quests, DB doesn't. TG, you can get a board quest to do something in one zone, then either turn in for small reward + small xp bump, or go to next zone and get medium reward + medium xp bump, then go to next zone to get large + large... DB only has the single level. So, if you go do each TG board quest to the max, THEN come back, leveling takes almost no time. DB takes forever if for no other reason than the numerous trips back and forth, back and forth...

I've suggested more than a few times to bring DB in line with this. Get contracts, go murderize a gimp in first zone, then return for small/small or go to next zone to murderize a second guy for med/med, or continue to the third for large/large... Doesn't seem that hard to add... Or, get a contract choice of easy, medium, hard... Easy is kill some gimp in an alley, medium is like the marketplace, hard would be in one of the guilds, or taverns, etc... Where a slip up gets you locked inside with guards!!

TG gets really easy when you have enough laundered goods to just do "Covetous Countess" missions (also how you farm for Abah's Curse), but if you just do the random mission you get from the boards DB is easier imho.

Yes!, that is why, I like TG more than DB. I don't remember any characters from DB. Its like this ,in orsinium, Aveline was the most favored character to other and also to me. In TG, its Quen and other characters but in DB, there is no-one that's rememberable.

It took me a week to level up my TG skills but the DB skills took me a day, that's is killing with blade of woe was fun but that was it.
I just wish we see good content in the future and see some characters that are like Aveline sharp arrow, Razum-dar and Narayu.

Agreed on the memorable characters... I can remember Quen, Velsa, Walks-Softly, etc... Pretty much the whole guild. Only person in DB I can remember is Elam (spelling?)... But, maybe that's on purpose? Everyone in DB is supposed to be mysterious and forgettable? The TG members are more like a family, supposed to know each other really well...

I just feel like DB is only fun because of the area and non-DB quests, like finding jobs for old acquaintances, and helping an old friend get her sister out of a bad spot... The actual DB quests are... Meh... And that helps make leveling them up seem like a chore to get to further quests, rather than a fun time with the reward of seeing the story move forward.

There's two types of contract from Elam Drals - 'Go there, kill target and come back' and 'Go there, kill any three in area and come back'.
I found the second type easier and quicker and they're worth 20 points were as the first is only 10. I just abandoned any of the first type I received and stuck with the kill three type. I found leveling up was much, much quicker after I started doing that.

I got it down to where the kill quests only took me about 3 minutes each. I stuck to the ones in Koeglin Village when possible, since the wayshrine is about 20 feet from the first possible target. I'd hit the book, port directly to Koeglin, kill the target, run to the shrine and tp to the DB shrine, run up and repeat.

If you teleport instantly both ways it can get pricey, but doing it that way seemed to be a good balance thanks to Koeglin being so close to the shrine.

Go to the book with the repeatable quests with that dark elf and keep accept the quests in there but make sure it's the one that says you gotta kill 3 people in a certain city. That quest gives like 10 or so xp instead of the 5 you usually get from the book. If you don't get the kill 3 people quest drop it and pick up another quest from the book and repeat until you get it.

    Dark Brotherhood reputation:
    +10 from story quests
    +5 from Contracts
    +10 from Kill Spree Contracts
    +10 from Sacraments
+20 from Sacraments with all Optional Objectives
(There's a couple of exceptions but this covers most of it)

    Use xp potion/ scrolls.
@schwarzman1 That wouldn't help at all, as XP boosters don't affect Reputation.

As I said above, XP potions won't help as they don't affect Reputation. The dailies in Kvatch and Anvil are no good either as they also don't provide any Reputation.

not sure how it works on pc or ps4 --- but without a potion , when you turn in a kill, you get around 35k xp. with a potion, you get 47k xp. maybe i wasnt paying attention but i thought that was going towards rep. if not, i wasted a bunch of potions.
