ZOS why does it take so long to fix something that YOU recently broke?

There are a lot of things that HAVE worked since release then you patch the game and they get broken. What I don't get at all is why the *** it takes so long for you to fix what YOU broke?

More than a month to fix the end main quest line. Medical Use worked fine but has been broken with no fix in sight. How is this *** acceptable to you?

Limited funds - don't think so. They have sold close to 2 million copies in US and as much as 3.5 million copies worldwide.

Doesn't mean a company pools 100% of those profits back to the same game.

Initial profits are to pull the company out of debt that it cost create and release the game. After that is a lot of overhead, that well for the longest time ZOS simply wasn't pulling.

ESO was bleeding subs from day 1 release till they went F2P. F2P basically ties their hands at being stuck as a small company, cause how do you hire 20 people when you have no idea if you can continue paying them in the next couple of months.

The constant pumping out of DLC has probably been helping sales, but that again leads to requiring more DLCs for more money and fixing repairing is sidelined cause that costs money.

Yes theres bugs and issues that needs fixing, but how long do you bleed the company of money and resources still to end up with no solution. Now you're left poorer than before, community A is unhappy cause you never actually fixed the problems and community B is unhappy cause what were they supposed to do during all this time with nothing to do and no reason to spend money.

Unfortunately While ESO has GREAT merits.......but it falls into the same issue EVERY MMO has.....End of the game is TOO hard to keep up content for players. One Tamriel is a good start if they know what to do with it.

No, the OP is right. On PS4 at least. Medicinal use does not work (I actually manually timed it), and jewelry with potion enchants also do not work (manually timed that one as well).

Kinda sucks when you're using Clever Alchemist and pop potions regularly.

They are expanding the game to asia, that's not what a company with imited funds does.
Look at the game, every other player is running in purchased costumes from the shop (me including) and riding purchased mounts (again, me including). ZoS makes more than enough money from the game.
Not to mention that there are people who bought the game prior to release (like me) for a lot more than what you have to pay today (cost me 80 euro).

So you think incurring several MILLION (rumor had it around $200M for development but it was never confirmed) in debt to actually develop the game is immediately wiped out the moment it goes on sale? You don't think they incur DAILY overhead expenses- paying rent, paying employees, paying electricity, maintenance, etc, etc.?!? Clearly you don't understand how business works or the expenses that are involved. Also, yes, a company DOES continue to expand to new markets especially if they are hurting because it's the only way for them to continue to try to add NEW sources of revenue.

But on topic... I also don't understand how something that was previously fixed suddenly gets broken again with a subsequent patch a few weeks/months later. The other day I incurred another 'death from fall damage' when leaving the Wailing Prison; I was transported to Khenarthi's Roost and subsequently suffered death from fall damage. This was fixed a few weeks ago, and now it's back again after this weeks update and I'm on PC, not console.

Yes I do - I didn't say they made $175,000,000 but sales volume is a very strong indicator of a companies viability. At $5.00 profit that's $17,500,000 not counting the $14 a month sub fee on average or all the crown store coin purchases. The game has made a lot of money.

Saying the have limited resources is just an excuse for crap performance and programming.

“If we really did waste 200 million dollars to make this game, then we would have been fired already for incompetence,” said Firor, “When you look at The Elder Scrolls Online, you don’t see a 200 million dollar game. In fact, feedback from our beta testers have stated that based on the game’s quality, not a lot of money was put into it. This clearly points to how much effort went into the game. ”

Because A is connected to B is connected to C is connected to D and so on and so on and so on.

I get the feeling that too many things are interconnected and when something is changed in A it sometimes results in unexpected changes in R.

Mate im sorry, but do you think we are all morons? Yes coding is complicated, no it doesn't mean that bugs must be kept for months and some of them for years.

Speaking of things that are recently broken, why are all the NPCs turning their heads to the right, looking away from me, like they can't stand the shame of being seen talking to my character? I mean, sure, I might have pickpocketed them once or thrice, and possible could have killed them a time or four, but why all the scorn?

I have to start each conversation twice now to get the normal "facing" NPC during ANY quest, any content area since Patch 2.4.8.
