Dismounted from the horse by mobs

I came back after some time and it seems like a lot of mobs gained skill of instant dismount of a player.
It is very annoying. I would like to and enjoy this game really, but I cannot enjoy this. It is not even realistic - nothing would instantly dismount you in reality (if it is not really big) please, could your nerf this a bit, so I could have atleast a chance to ride away? the mobs should have to do some damage to the horse before it will throw me down? I cannot see any skill of a player involved, this is just crap. Thank you.

Stamina points you purchase at stables increase the number of hits you can take before being dismounted

That do need to deal damage to dismout you by getting your mounts stamina to 0 so if u sprint until you have 0 on your mount you will be dismounted in one hit simple

Yeah.. after 20 stam, I tend not to get dismounted after the first hit. What's annoying, though, is when you're blazing past a "mob" or a zombie dude and you still get a hit from his sword attack or punch. Ok, I can see by a blast from a staff or an arrow, since those hits are automatically beamed to you, but come on.. by a punch.. really ?!

Any damage you receive while mounted will reduce your mount's stamina pool. Any damage received while your horse has no stamina will automatically dismount you.

It can sometimes be very comic to see myself get dismounted by the last tick of a Damage Over Time effect.

To avoid getting dismounted fast, you should feed your horse to increase it's stamina.

Definitely increase your mount stamina to at least 20. Often you get snared by mobs, so the morph of Rapid Maneuvers(under Assault), which is Retreating Maneuvers, removes snares and gets ya out of sticky situations.

Well, they probably still "eat", but they have a better menu than oats, apples, and whatever the last one was. Much easier to leave the horses in peace and train the rider.

I read, that if you run your mount to 0 stamina, then if something hits you, you get dismounted, but if you keep some stamina of your mount unspent, then they can not dismount you by attacking you. I read this about Cyrodiil, but I am not sure if it is the same with mobs, try it out !

Just get off your horse and kill them it's not hard plus you'll usually get xp and sometimes gear

    This is directed to OP:

Use block which immediately dismount you or use any skill as that also will dismount you to ground. As an example you can use healing ward to shield against hard hitting damage from ranged weapons or rapid regeneration for HoT so you compensate for incomming poison from spiders.

Try to get some distance to mobs that are running after you and respond with AoE skills. When mob have been chasing you they will often stop their attack when you attack back and return to their original post. That is why it is better to dismount and hit back while you still have some kind of control over that situation.

With more speed (60 points) you will be able to sprint away from most groups of mobs, so you don't need to feed/train stamina as the very first thing you do. Speed is also more useful to get around in both PvE and PvP. You can even ride in some parts of dungeons, so it might help to get around even in those places where there can be some distance to run/walk/sprint on foot.

Stamina on horse is still needed when you sprint on horse, so you would want to train that line too as it help to out run (sprint) some chasing mobs as long will not get too many hits on you.

Most mobs have an assigned area, in which they are active in combat - if they chase you for a while, they are out of this range and all you have to do is attack them, they will ignore you then, turn back to their assigned area and gain full health again. it is pretty much the same, what is so annoying in The witcher - you get out of their range, and the mob just turns back to it's assigned area and have full health again. I think that is implemented that way, that you cannot just kite them, like many are doing it in games - running backwards firing at the enemy.

Like others said, you wont be dismounted immediately if your horse has enough stamina.
Also, there is a passive in Dark Brotherhood skill line that reduces mob aggro range when you're mounted.

I'm more annoyed at that fact that every hit by mobs as I ride by is an automatic snare... even when I have immunity to it.
