New to PTS: Rider skill question

Hey guys. I'm new to using the PTS and wanted to do some testing and theory crafting here.

I noticed that riding skill is at 0 on PTS. Mostly everything else is unlocked.

I can't imagine testers on the PTS are all riding around with 0 riding skill... and as the characters are reset at the end of the test phase...

Is there a way of improving riding skill that does not involve waiting 20 hours per 1 point?

    When I make PTS templates I just use the Crown Store upgrades since they are 1 Crown and they are not really my Crowns being spent.

    Not only for riding skill but also for inventory space.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Ahh ok. Are the crowns reset to 500 at the beginning of the next test phase?

    Everything on the crown store costs 1 crown, so even with several characters with maxed riding, inventory size and all costumes, you won't reach the cap (5500 crowns). :)

    I think they are reset each time you make a new template, but not sure, I haven't been looking at the number lately.
