I don't think them removing titles does anything but to help peoples ego.

If you earned something when it was "hard" then be proud you did that and enjoy it. Don't remove options from others though just because you want to promote that you were/are better than them.

@Volkodav I am honestly confused by your response to my post.

It's as though you're writing to debate my post, but from what I can tell we both agree on the same thing. This isn't me picking a fight or trying to be sarcastic either (sad I have to explain that in a forums reply these days) I honestly don't understand if you're debating my point or agreeing with it.

The statement was aimed at saying that removing the titles so that others can't gain them doesn't do anything but to serve the ego of those who already earned them and now want them removed.

As it seem from the OP and others that players who were able to get these earlier than others before content was toned down would like to keep them exclusively for themselves as bragging rights.

I personally don't care how someone got a title as long as they had fun achieving it and didn't do so at the expense of others enjoyment. I like to hunt and work for titles and achievements but have never been in the top tier of players to earn them right away.

vDSA has been solo'd!!!! (at least the final stage) while the Cap was still V14 and it was much harder than it is now.
my V1 twink without equip has a vCoA no-death/speed/whatever run (no deadlands title because of the easy, yet tedious achievments, e.g. free those npc's), because it was the daily, I needed undaunted xp and some guildies had 15min to carry me.

Neither tile is worth anything at all. both used to be but that was a long, long time ago. these days, i'm very close to dropping Flawless Conqueror because it's so common already. Just like no serious pvp player displays "former emperor" anymore.

Hard-to-get titles are cool as long as they are really uncommon. After some time, I'd strongly prefer titles that sound cool. I love "tribune" on chars much higher than that. Likewise, the two titles you mention in the OP, are also great choices if they fit the "topic" of your char, armor styles and dyes, etc.

Imho there's no need to exclude newer players from titles that have long been very readily available for average players

..maybe we need a "PC MasterRace" title for those of us who just console players...if they don't ride their special mount or have their monkey tagging along, it's incredibly hard for me to tell who I should be in awe of. (...mostly kidding)

Why do people care when they get achievements during the lifetime of the game? Isn't achieving these titles when it was a harder content enough to make you think "yeah I feel proud when I received this when it was hard". Sounds like certain people are trying to get validation for epeen.

I agree with the add more vampire & werewolf titles.

You could add some nice PvP titles for WW & some nice PvE titles for vamp.

Bite 10 000 people in Tamriel - unlock vampiric red dye
Kill 100 000 players in Cyrodiil - unlock Silver Dye

Those 2 dyes should look amazing and be pearlescent or something so that they justify the massive grind / time it takes to get them.

I don't mind that this content is being made easier and more people will get the titles, this is a common occurrence in MMO's. Old content always becomes easier and more people obtain the older titles OP it's just the way MMO's work.

I am not such an elitist that I want other people to be excluded, I am curious why you do.

Nooo I'm only 4 flame colossi away from getting deadlands adept. Would have it already but we always skipped through the lava until that got fixed recently so we only ever killed that first one before Horvantud.

ok so just poo on folks who have jobs and lives outside of a video game? I can play maybe an hour or two a day during the week.

So that makes me casual, sure I"ll concede that point; but how in any way, shape, or form, does that make me not worthy of even the opportunity to earn those titles?

I only waited this long to buy the game because I am a responsible adult and I have bills to pay and wanted to wait for a free play weekend to get the discount.

Not all of us can live in our parents' basement until the whole fam-damily needs a nursing home... and by "can", I mean "choose not to be an adult and take an active role in our own lives outside of a virtual world and therefore grow egos the size of whatever they need to be to become this petty..."

I genuinely get OP's point I really do.

But priorities come to mind.

I play Xbox and the game performance is currently at an all time low. Let's get this thing playable before we get butt hurt about how someone else has the same title as us but did it when it was easier.
