How would you rather pay for the "barber shop"?

As I've stated in the other similar thread, I think people are making mountains out of mole hills and keep forgetting that ZOS needs to make money, serious money, to keep the game going. Adding 'one time charges' and things like that don't keep the doors open, it's the constant influx of REAL money, not in-game gold, that keeps the game afloat. With ONLY 7M 'accounts' ZOS is far behind the eight-ball compared to other 'world-wide' MMOs and with their staff, server costs, other overhead, and demanding shareholders, they need to find as many ways to generate constant revenue as possible. People may complain, but if you want the options to make changes 'after the fact', these are on YOU, not ZOS... I just do not believe in this whole 'lack of personal responsibility' generation we live in today. "I want to change the look of my character, why won't ZOS let me do it for free?" Because you CHOSE to create your character the way you did, so suck it up that it's YOUR FAULT, accept responsibility, and pay the cost to make changes.

The latter part of your argument (the psychological analysis of members of the latest generations) is of course a fallacy.

ZOS is making money, serious money, from box sales, subs and DLC sales as well as sales of vanity items. Many MMOs keep well afloat and regularly updated off much less. Everything indicates ESO is booming, and even if it isn't, ZOS will never share figures. Just blindly throwing in money to hope ZOS stays afloat is silly.

So I don't understand why the customers should be concerned with ZOS' finances. This isn't charity. ZOS will make money, they don't need their customers encouragement. Shareholders and investors will encourage them plenty. It's only healthy for the game when paying customers step on the brake every once in a while when it seems ZOS is trying to milk us dry.

but there should be an gamegold buy possibility but they are greedy so it i think they do a eso plus ripof as thgey did with the mat bags .

idgaf about changing hairstyles, I just want to fix his stupid looking face that I quickly made the first night when playing with friends.

Me too! My first character has a good face, however...a big bulky back, and boobies to the maximum because I thought they looked small in character creation, and now she looks really unproportionate (is that even a word ;___;?) and not fit for a healer xD

ha I had the same problem with 1 of my females...I wanted her to look like a full figured woman, I get in game and she looks like balloons were stuffed in her armor :p

This is another reason why I wouldn't pay for a single character change...the character looks different in creation then in game so I would likely attempt to fix a problem and create another.

    I've never had this issue.
I know that once you put gear on a toon it can cause some... features... to appear proportionately different than at creation. I find that if I make the character body without gear on, then use the Veteran Gear preview button and tweak it to my liking then I don't have the issue of things not looking right in game.

    Yes! It sucks that they couldnt implement the simple thing of seeing your character in the character creation, in different lights ;____;

Is there a price on these things yet? Because there's a big difference between 50 crowns and 5,000 crowns that factors quite heavily into an informed answer...

We dont know yet, but it will be several tokens, maybe 5, maybe 50, however, even if it is just one, I doubt ZOS will put a price of 50 crowns in anything xD!

The barbershop is a one time payment and works great. Also, everyone should have expected this would cost crowns. To think it would be in game gold does not fit with the monetization of MMOs in today's world.

No its not, everytime you want to change your characters appearance, you have to buy "tokens" which allow you to change it for a few times :( ... and of course the extra hairstyles I can understand that you must buy with crowns.

I only chose the option as an eso+ perk because there still isn't enough incentive. However it should be also included into this game for money, because you know, MMO's have been doing that for decades now.

Largely it should be in game gold.

Now, if there are new options limited to a crown store that's fine to open up more options.

ESO Plus should never be a concept of part of this.

It's ridiculous that they are putting all the appearance changing options only in the crown store. Even more so that people are accepting it. It should be in game gold or crowns. If they try this garbage with player housing, i'm out, canceling my sub and moving on. The greed is real.

There's no poll option for it all being available somehow by playing the game, with the crown store for those who can't or won't wait.
