so we saw one of them on eso live.

i have issue with the 2 piece bonus.

major ward. really? Monster helms are supposed to give unique 2 piece bonuses. We all can get major ward 5 different ways and it won't stack so...

zenimax. try again.

Seemed pretty good to me. All the benefits of Armor Master in a 2 pc set and you don't even have to use an armor ability to proc it. But yes a unique 2 pc bonus would have nice.

I can see how it would be useful for someone who wants to wear all medium armor and have a free slot open. There's a lot of builds out there that use mostly 2H skills on their bar. Heck- it might even open up some medium armor tanking (for easy 4 man dungeons).
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

To be honest I have mixed feeling about this. One one hand this set might come in handy, on the other...looks like zenimax is suffering from lack of original ideas.
Profanity filter is a crime against the freedom of speech. Also gags.

Is it a lack of original ideas, though?
So many of their sets aren't used at all because they are just... bad.

I think it's more a fear of making something else the players find useless? So sticking to what they know works until they get a good handle on the difference between useful and only looking good on paper?
Why be normal when you can be better?

    Elissandra Ravenwing, Magicka Dragonknight Healer
    Lady Kalila, Stamina Templar DPS
    Stands-in-Danger, Nightblade Saptank
    Zalarah, Stamina Dragonknight DPS

Isn 't it? Most of sets have simple spell/weapon damage buff, instead of something creative. I don't know why they are afraid to try something interesting and complicated - they can change things, since they are developers.
Engine Guardian, Bloodpawn, Skoria, Nerein'eth, Bogdan (proc chances are too low though), Maw (daedroth is too slow and can't hit anything) are great sets, although require some tweaking.

It's an awesome set. I'd run this with hist bark and never have to hit shuffle or armor buff again. Save so much on resources. Could have had something different though.

Where is the frost atronarch helm mined last year zos?

If it is armor master in a 2pc that would be good. Armor master ward buff stacks with our other skills that provide major resistance. Essentially getting 10k + between from the two combined.

wow..this set is gonna crush Lord warden set.

They should fine tune some monsters sets..except 4 or 5 all are garbage..

It's alright, but creatively bankrupt. Most tanks should be/ are at cap anyway.

Better ideas for tank procs: a more regularly ticking Lamae effect, damage shields, 100% health regen bonus for X seconds, group wide damage shield...

I could go on an on. I'm literally just spitballing as I type this on my phone. It's not hard to think of what tanks want/ need instead of throwing out more mitigation (which has a cap anyway). They could have done better.

Speaking as a tank main, this set is godawful. There is no way that freeing up a single skill slot is worth giving up the free ultimate AND resist buff that actually DOES stack that bloodspawn provides, or even the resource sustain that engine guardian gives you. I could not possibly be less impressed with this new set. Seeing anyone with a high cp level (implying they've had time to get better sets) running this will make me instantly question their knowledge of the role. It's just that bad.

    I could not agree more.

i have 1 tank and 3 dps. No healers. (but i wouldn't mind one)

the problems i have with this set just do not end.

    1. its major ward. and major resolve. it should be its own buff that can stack with the major defensive buffs. Even if it's a smaller amount.

    2. Lord warden. scourge harvester, blood spawn. engine guardian. All fine sets for tanking or defense.

    3. bogdon. The one healer set is still beyond useless. 2 percent proc rate. add a zero behind that and it will be a really good set but not op. what does this have to do with anything? we could have used another healing set for our new good at healing argonian themed dungeons! How did you guys miss that opportunity to tie that in!

3.5 1 piece should be magic recovery to compliment this as a healer set. We have everything except magic recovery! we already have lord warden giving almost the same 1 piece as this except its only spell resistance??? what the heck is up with that!!!???? change that to be like this set. make this set magic recovery. Win win win and i promise to buy an extra crown pack if that happens!

    so....

i mean its not my job. (i wouldn't mind if it was)

    1 piece - magic recovery
2 piece - amber plasmatical protection - 3580 physical and spell resistance. (not as much but healer can wear this and not go down as easily and buff their magica recovery. I thought of this in 2 seconds and i bet my life on the community being happier with it!

    or

    1 piece - magic recovery
2 piece - the way you made it. still thousands of people happier.

    or

    1 Piece - magic recovery.
2 piece - 8 percent chance when healing to proc healing pools underneath allies feet healing them for 6k over 6 seconds. or something like that.

ok. not trying to be negative. I care a lot and it would be cool if this was different.

the other monster set. make the once piece weapon and spell damage like you did with kena.

my apologies for grammar or typos.
