Coincidence that racial changes are happening around race change crown store release?

Now if you want to min/max you are forced to pay money in the crown store for an extra character slot to grind a new character or you have to pay for a race change. GG ZOS you won the cash money grab.

Except they already did a racial change about 6 months ago. Now they are doing another one upon race change crown store purchasing. ZOS = greedy

No. Racial passive changes have been an issue Wrobel has said he wants to address, but wouldn't do so until the ability to change race was implemented in the game. This was on an ESO live back in April I believe.

Its not a cooincidence, or a surprise.... ZoS have been very open and said that they wouldn't change the racials until they were able to offer race change in the crown store.

The reasons were that if they changed and updated too many racial passives then it may change things for people who were happy with their race choice, who may then want to change.... so they wanted to ensure they could change if they wanted.

    Which is a valid arguement...

They have given people what they wanted.... both updating & (hopefully) improving the racial passives, while also allowing people to change races if they want.

That is exactly my point. They wanted to wait until they added a pay option before they re balanced it again.

They already did that once. And it was free of charge.

That's not the point. The point is if they changed some passives that messed up your character without allowing you to change the race, people would rightfully be infuriated. They talked about this in great detail.

And people aren't infuriated that their race is going to be nerfed without a one time free race change?

^Exactly. Nerfing your race choice then charging you to change it sounds infuriating to me.

I am sure people didn't want their race to be nerfed, and then to be charged to change it lol...

You're making an assumption that there will be nerfs, which there is no evidence of. They could easily tweak the under performers up.

We could wait to see what the plans for racial changes are, before jumping on the doom and gloom train while screaming about the nerf bat. ....or not and just let our fears and imagination get the better of us.

If ZOS's intent is for people to pay for a race change in the crown store, you best believe you should be more cynical than optimistic about the upcoming racial change.

I'm just worried they'll "rebalance" them in a way that makes you really want to change, therefore encouraging you to buy at least one race change token for $$$.

Argonians and Nords could probably use a small buff. Redguard Adrenaline Rush should be removed.

Pls leave the other races alone ZOS...

And for the record I have no problem with my Redguard losing his OP passive... It really is just way too good.

So...basically you're afraid that Redguards and Altmers might take a small hit or that the other races might be brought up to speed? You're scared that there will be other viable min/max options and mad that you will have to pay to jump ship to one of these options? Your concerns are invalid. If they balance them a little better, why would anyone feel miffed? Because they're not the only OP min/max build anymore? Silly thing to worry about.

-It is not a coincidence - ZOS themselves said in the last live show, that it was a requirement to have this race change implemented, before they do the racial passive changes. This is strongly related to each other, no coincidence.

Which to some that aren't being reduced will be seen as a "nerf" by comparison. Saw it heading into and after DB.
