Also if CP allocation is raised, will the new dungeons give higher than cp160 loots?

CP cap increase refers to the fact that you can currently only assign 501 CP. Its irrespective of gear level.

Yes, that's why they should increase gear too. Otherwise you just get too far ahead of the game.

@radiostar I am at CP 501, the current cap. My gear is CP 160. No issues here. If they raise the max gear level then they'll have to do some pretty broad ranging balancing that would take an immense amount of time for them to do, then they'll do it incorrectly, and spend yet more time redoing it again.

Not to mentioned their be no point in rising the old trials to CP 160 if they was just going to make all gear CP180.That makes no since.Hopefully they raise it to 552 or 600.Those be a decent increase.

Honestly I think they should just rework the entire gear system to make everything cap out at level 50. It would make a lot more sense than what they are currently doing. You can then use the different materials to control how the items look. At that point you can get closer to WoW and push out updates where your gear level is raised to 60,70,etc. Its not a great solution, but better than the current system where its tied to this nebulous CP thing.

The CP cap raise is really coming, but don't get your hopes up too high - it's a very small raise.

Thanks for the tip Kai! Appreciate it

I'm surprised no one every points out what a joke the poison/disease resistance is on Argonians and Bosmer. Unlike the numbers you see on a Dunmer or Breton 3,300ish, the poison/disease resistane on Argonan and Bosmer are really pretty low, to the point of being worthless, particularly when considering its only to do with the damage.

They'll probably just remove stat bonuses altogether and make all the racials like the leveling bonuses to certain weapon or armor types.

if they'd do that, I'm gone. What would be the point in having different races then?

I didn't watch ESO live today!
But if its true then I am hyped!

Please, ZO$ don't disappoint us! Till then this "$" sign will be there with you.

Also, give bosmer race a max magicka about 3/5/6% or magicka regen by 3/5/7% due to their belief in a Magical god "Y'ffre" or just let they also have 21% magicka regen and 3% max magicka. So, that they will be called as the kings and queens of Regen! ;)

For Dunmer, an increase in fire resistance and light /heavy attacks restore x% magicka. So, May they be called as the kings/queens of magicka

What I expect is that ZOS will remove the % of Racials and make them flat amounts

I also hope that ZOS adds whatever their equivalent of 6% magic will be to Argonian Quick to Mend Passive and 6% stamina to Rugged for Nords, while changing the Nord's and Orc's Robust to Robust Constitution like Khajiits.

I doubt that will happen, it makes too much sense of ZOS to do that but I have never hoped so much that I am wrong and they actually decide to do it.

I'm guessing that they'll remove the percentage bonuses and maybe replace them with flat values (ala weapon traits)

And it'd be a good change. The big 10% bonuses to a stat discourages diversity. Currently a "mismatched combination" (ie. redguard magplar) gains next to nothing from racials. However, a flat increase to a stat (and more importantly) a flat increase to recovery could be useful for any class in solo arenas as well as PvP.

Although if sharpened is any indication, they'd give Altmers +9999 magicka and Argonians +100 health. (Magicka is situational! Health is vital!)

hm flat boni to attributes or regeneration would not be bad, once we are all scaled with One Tamriel - but what about now?- This could easily raise the stats and regen of a newbie by more than he has now as max total and would be a disaster for beginner difficulty until One Tamriel will be implmented in fall. there would be like no challenge at all if this would happen.

hmm, fiddling with racial passives? sounds like more change for the sake of change - which is never a good idea.

don't believe me? get yourself a government job and you'll figure it out pdq.

as previously stated, here's hoping the changes are additive rather then eviscerating. i've no interest in having my oldest characters gutted.

it's not a challenge, it's not 'l2p' (foad on that one), and it's not enjoyable.

I wanna have faith in this "racial balancing" that ZOS has planned but idk, my intuition tells me this may end up a fiasco, especially if it involves nerfs of any kind.

I can already predict the QQ from player's who specifically chose min/max race/class combos.

No, they can't do that without a huge backlash accusing Zos of 'forcing' us into a race change. More likely some races will get on-par with the strongest ones.

Come on now that hasn't stopped them before and it won't stop them now.Only race I see them not nerfing of the big three is Imperial since you have to pay for him,but Redguards and Altmer your going down.

Why would they do that if they can just buff argonian, nord and maybe orc? What I'd like to see, is each race with specific niches. Like what they did with the orcs, but a bit better and even more pronounced

Then they wouldn't be able to push race change on players.Which would net them more money then just hoping maybe you just want to change you character.
