Viable solo class?

I've always loved night blades. It's the class I always pick, I have no clue why. Right now I'm having trouble soloing stuff. Like I have a mission for the banished cells and I'm not quite sure if you need a group for that. I thought I'd attempt it at level 8 and I died a ton. I'd run past enemies while I was dead and got to the end but could never take on the boss.

I never really understood what spells for a Nightblade were AoE type so I could just wipe enemies out. I'm tired of having to ask people to come save me from a battle because I'm stuck.

I want a class that's easy to solo. I think that'd be Templar but I want to know your thoughts. I've tried dragon knight but didn't get very far level wise. I haven't tried sorcerer yet. I'm torn between dragon knight and trying a sorcerer.

I guess the thing I'll be sad to give up is having amazing luck at stealing (which I have with my Nightblade. I'm part of DB too)

Any suggestions to help me learn and master my class would be appreciated. This is my first elder scrolls game. I come from WoW

    Banished Cells - along with all the other undaunted, are best started at level 12 (that's the minimum recommended) in 4 person groups.

    I don't have a lot of experience with NB either, but my understanding is that they don't have much AoE. On my current lowbie NB I've been using Soul Trap as a multi-target DoT.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    You can solo a lot in this game with mag night blade but you need to unlock the skills for it.sap,siphoning strikes,merciless resolve,etc

    It doesn't really matter which class, it's more important that you are an argonian. Swim speed is the current meta in the live iteration of cyrodiil.

    They all have their advantages.

    Stamina Dragonknight, Magicka Sorcerer, Stamina Templar, Magicka Templar, and Magicka Nightblade are probably best at soloing.

    These would be my top choices for solo play. Of these, Stam DK, Mag Temp and Mag Sorc are the strongest at solo play imo. The only I don't have much experience with of these is Magicka Templar, but the healing can be insane.

    Templar is by far the easiest class to solo, they have it all... tankiness, self healing based skills, DoTs, Crowd Control and AoEs all with support or healing buffs... you really can't go wrong with Templar for solo play.

    This and its the best class for play all roles.( Melee DPS, range DPS, healer and tank)
    Just jab,jab,jab or sweep,sweep,sweep.

    the main thing here is that you probably will not complete the undaunted quest on your own.. you will need to group with some people..

    You're not supposed to beat group dungeons solo- they're called group dungeons for a reason. That said, people still manage to do it. Come endgame, a Magicka Sorcerer does best for solo content and soloing group content, whether it be vMSA, trials, or dungeons. If you're talking about leveling, it's Magicka Templar, hands down. No other class has sustainable healing, single target, and AOE all rolled into one ability, not to mention that you get it after ~ten minutes of playing the game.

    Incorrect, anybody can complete that quest without trouble. Entering a dungeon is not difficult.

    By the way, you must unlock most important skills to do dungeon solo. And L2P also

    You are attempting to complete content that is designed for 4 players with a lvl 8? Yea, that is not soloing.
    If the quest has a + or a dungeon icon next to it, it is not solo.

    As far as solo content - any class/race combo will work.

    true, but some class builds can. tired of 6 hour waits in the dungeon finder? play at odd and/or random times? pick up one o the options that can solo normal dungeons and down the line some vets as well.
