Why can't we sell items like Nirncrux stones in guild stores anymore?

I have some Nirn weapon and armor stones, and have been trying to sell them in the store of the guild I belong to, but get a message saying "selling in guild store not allowed." Does anyone know why this is now a thing?

✭✭Check your rank in the guild rooster. Maybe the guild leader set it so you are not allowed to use the guild store.1
