Anything that involves player versus player involvement is also toxic and cancerous.
Let's run down a list of things that the PvP community has ruined for everybody.
- Block stamina regeneration
- Damage shield duration
- Certain skills completely changed and useless
- Selling Monster Helmets/Shoulders because kids are too lazy to play a dungeon that's part of the game

Has it gotten worse? Absolutely.
Between the cheaters that get slapped on the wrist for purposefully exploiting the game, exploits that are so easy to do that it's honestly hard to tell what's even legit anymore, lag so fierce that you swear ZOS is doing it intentionally to screw with you and so many bugs/crashes/etc that it's a miracle you can even play the game half the time.
This game is going downhill fast.

Wow, and I remember when AD was the zerg in IC. I couldn't make it out the sewers without getting ganked.
And I always fight back. Even if I know I'm going to die. I always, always, always fight back.
