✭✭✭✭✭I think that stuff like hairstyle changes will be payable in gold - acquiring those hairstyles packs (I assume, it might be packs) will cost crowns and if you want to change other details of your body, it will be crown as well.3 -
CrownsThey know it something a lot of people want so I imagine it will cost crowns, why make it cost gold when they can make even more money than what they charge to acquire it? I would guess it will be like the vampire/werewolf bites and pay for them per character1 -

However, I expect the Appearance Change Tokens to be available through gold as well (but not the Race and Name Change Tokens). Paying Crowns for a premium hairstyle and then paying Crowns again to apply it seems like double-dipping, to me. I won't be surprised if it is all Crowns, though.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Not a bad idea. ESO+ gives you a once-per-month apperance (not race) change.

It's also not useful to denigrate Zenimax for putting stuff in the crown store. A system for changing a character's appearance after the initial creation requires programing and testing. It costs them real money to make systems like that for the game. It's only to be expected that they would try to recoup their investment.
