However, I expect the Appearance Change Tokens to be available through gold as well (but not the Race and Name Change Tokens). Paying Crowns for a premium hairstyle and then paying Crowns again to apply it seems like double-dipping, to me. I won't be surprised if it is all Crowns, though.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

It's also not useful to denigrate Zenimax for putting stuff in the crown store. A system for changing a character's appearance after the initial creation requires programing and testing. It costs them real money to make systems like that for the game. It's only to be expected that they would try to recoup their investment.
