    If there is a delay on damage and calculations, then it prolly has to do with the back end changes that Wheeer mentioned in his thread about campign performance.

    He mentioned how abilities and the way that they calculate/do their checks was changed so maybe thy could be whats causing people to suddenly get damage spikes out of nowhere.

    Myself and a few others noticed this on console. I was playing my HA Stam dk with impen and 40k health and I'm getting dropped so fast in cyrodill. Could crit resistance be bugged?

    I had another thought about this last night and I'm wondering about the new Sorc passive . Implosion. I'm at work atm, so I can't look it up myself, but maybe (just a maybe), this could have something going on as an execute that isn't showing or working the way it's supposed to. I leave it to you smarter folks to tell me I'm crazy. Which is fine... I just wanna get to the bottom of this =/

    Disintegrate:
    Renamed this passive ability to Implosion.
    This passive ability now also grants all Physical Damage you deal a chance to instantly pulverize low health enemies, dealing additional Physical Damage to them.
    Updated this passive’s tooltip to indicate what the health threshold is for it to trigger.
    Energized: This passive ability now also increases your Physical Damage done in addition to the Shock Damage done.
    Implosion: Fixed an issue where this passive ability could not critically strike.

    I noticed last night dual wield appeared to be throwing up double buffs.
    It was just something I noticed off chance before logging off.
    I will have a further look next time I log on.
    Anything that can be exploited will be exploited

    There is definitely something wrong with damage in this game right now. There's a desync or something where you can't tell you're getting hit until you're dead or nearly dead.

    This is an example of the kind of health desync I am frequently experiencing. My health goes from 21,847 to 0 after taking 7,082 total damage from three attacks.

    After today's natch potes, it seems implosion was bugged and firing all the time. Maybe there was something going on with that. Be great if a Dev might be able to help us ponder this or give a little insight to any investigation they have going on. =)

    I'll add a couple things:

    The death recap has, from my experience, never been in proper order. Nor has the combat log.

    As for higher damage, well... you have a lot more people using bows and obviously using poison injection (which was buffed). Being that many people were putting more points into resisting magic/fire/ice from the proxy meta and damage has shifted somewhat to a hell of a lot more bows and poison injections... I can see a big shift in damage right there.

    Enchants and poisons do more damage. There is a double damage health poison that does ~17k damage on it's tooltip. This is a huge increase in damage from what enchants once did. Furthermore, as above, many players had shifted their resist to magic/fire/ice and even further I'm not sure how poison is mitigated in damage... armor or spell resist?

    But all those things compound to more damage.

    I can tell you that if you are sub 50% health and someone puts a poison injection on you and procs a good damage poison... you are dead unless you are healing immediately. That's just math, not broken mechanics.
