why not just make enemy keeps/outposts insta kill zones until you breach the walls?

Well that would ruin my favorite thing to do. Hide in a keep while it flips, wait about 10 more minutes, and kill people when they walk out the inner doors :(

    agree
and for me one step further than just regretting :'( .

During and after conquering a Keep, the attackers need in my opinion to secure the keep completely with checking enemies in Stealth and rebuilding the walls etc properly.

If a Group does sloppy work speeding already to the next battle.....
That should have the disadvantage of losing the keep again !

So I rather see ZOS make an invisible fence around the castle, starting 3 meters above the ground to keep enabling "normal" gap closing.

This jumping from the outher wall to the inner fortress should in my opinion be kept !
I did not test whether this would also work vice versa, from the inner fortress to (some sieges) the outher wall.

What I experienced was that defending the inner fortress ALSO against jumping enemies was really cool :)

So not foreseen or intended, like animation cancelling, I would keep this jumping to the inner fortress !!!
Only for outside the outher wall a fence

The community is pretty divided on whether gap closing into a keep is legit or not. Valid points on both sides have been voiced.
However, the fact that I can crit rush to the third floor of some keeps from the front porch should probably be fixed.

My thought was to treat the Transitus as a shield... As long as the keep is unflagged or at least one of the resources were controlled by the keep owner's faction, the Transitus casters around the shrine would provide a shield around the keep that would block any enemy player from crossing through. Once either the keep was flagged or all three of the resources were lost, the Transitus field would break, allowing gap closers to jump up to the walls. All the more reason to defend your keeps!

I would at least like an indicator like the "Keep under attack" indicator for when someone was in the keep, that could be seen from the map. (But leave the ability to port there) And with the keeps with scrolls, if it hasn't flipped, it explodes like the ones in the temples when the gate is closed.

The actual jumping I personally find annoying, but it can add a bit to the siege combat. At least if we had these 2 measures in place we wouldn't have a small team just jump in, grab a scroll and run away. We could see if people were in the keep thus allowing us to port and look for them or not leave a keep we've taken till we see no one is left alive.

If I'm making requests, I might as well also ask for more roaming NPCs 9with detect pots on) on the ramparts, who could rally nearby NPCs to help. (This is asking a lot I know, but would be fun to have) Keep them away from the edge to prevent people using them to exploit, but if they're constantly patrolling then it makes it harder to hide.

They need to either patch this quickly, or own it 100% and either give other classes the ability to jump in, or a new siege that's just a Helepolis.

How would this fix gap closers???

You're idea seems like a band aid and even then, like scotch tape instead of a band aid. Fix gap closers and we no longer have this issue. (Take Flight isn't a gap closer and to me, should be able to breach certain walls.)

"....give other classes the ability to jump in.... "

add an ability to the Alliance tree.
and only that ability can jump through the fence around the castle if certain conditions are fulfilled.
