Why not just name all the pets as "mini pets" - will allow them to scale back their size so as not to interfere with gameplay, but also be transparent about that fact.

Honestly I doubt its a bug. It seems to be the only one 'affected' by this supposed bug at least to the extent where its much larger than it actually is.

Agreed. A nix hound is a similar size to a dog; they're all over Stonefalls, and you can see there how big they are. That is the size the pet should be; the same size as the existing in-game nix hounds.

Yeah Im not buying the whole "Previews are bugged" line either. I havent seen any other pet or mount preview to be bugged after previewing it then buying it. This is the first and only time that Im aware of such a bug.

Considering the average size of the Nix Hounds in game. Its reasonable to assume anyone that heard about this pet, even before looking at the previews would have had the notion that the pets would be the size of the average Nix Hounds. Both the Store Showcase and the Crown Store Preview gives us the indication that even the ZOS Staff was under the same impression as the playerbase. Im pretty certain the people in charge of the Showcase arent necessarily in charge of the Crown Store additions and Previews. So at best only one person was mistaken as to the actual size, or possibly two to three or more people who work for ZOS were mistaken as to the size of the pet.

To me its not so much the size that's the issue, although I hear the folks that got confused by that, I did too.

Its that the tiny bugger has no 'substance' to it. Its planes and angles and its legs actually disappear when looked at straight on. Its quality is not on par with the other pets imo.

The least you could've done is resize the pet to what the preview initially showed, since it's clear ZOS isnt going to give back the crowns we spent on this thing.

Maybe they should change the picture of the pet in the crown store so it shows your character standing next to the pet. That way you know exactly how it's going to look. They could have a zoom button or something that shows it the way they already do.

Am I the only one who expected it to be smaller becausd so are the pet guar, but still bought it because it's darn cute?

OP has a point, some of them pet previews are very misleading.
You won't get a refund though.
