Well... I want a refund. Nix hound

Sigh. I previewed the new pet, the nix hound. Looked good, pretty large, lots of details. I buy it and literally lol at the troll job by zos.

How can I get a refund on Xbox for this? It's not even funny.

In the future please make the size of the pet in the preview, you know, match the size of the actual pet.

Below I am previewing the pet next to the one I purchased. You'll see why I'm upset.

Although the crown store makes those little pets look like they're in your face zoomed in while in preview...

All their pet previews have been misleading in this regard, at least the ones I am familiar with.

I just have the free pets from DLC access and a few quests - I never use them, my daughter loves the dog, I think it is the Orsinium one, it runs around and eats mice.

Still remains that I bought this, and when previewing other pets they don't appear that much larger. That's like previewing a dog that's dog size, then buying it and it's the size of a horse. It's insane.

It is kinda funny yes. But I think I would like a refund seriously. Do I submit a support ticket on the website or through my console?

I'm not usually one to complain too much outside of obvious price gouging etc, but I debated, pulled the trigger and then was like WTF when I equipped it.

Wait.... WTF! That's seriously misleading. I have only ever purchased one pet (polar bear cub) and was happy.

Definitely going to think twice before buying any pets from the Crown Store in the future!

ZOS you should refund the this guy.

I have to agree with the OP about the misleading advertising. It does say 'giant' in the description of the pet. That should put it on par with the spiders in game.

I would have felt the same as the OP if I'd bought it.

Not really, all of the other small pets in the previews are their actual size. That Nix Hound is definitely not scaled to the actual size and would warrant false advertising.

Oh wait, the frog was a part of the TG expanded edition, the 4K crown package with DLC, camel, and pet.

I wanted TG and my daughter wanted the camel, so I figured I might as well get the fire frog and 5 xp scrolls for free.

The fire frog is very small, same size as the ones you see over by the Thieves Den entrance.

I was mostly agreeing with the OP on nixhound.

The few pets I've bought all turned out fine besides their loud noises they make every 30 seconds.

Lil Netty can fart all day though.

Thanks for the support guys. It's only 400 crowns but more the principal. I bought the ass ugly guar pet simply because he was huge and annoying lol, I've never had a problem with the pets being the wrong size. I own 19 pets currently. I'm not one to throw a fit over a simple thing, again this is just misleading and needs to be fixed.

Thanks for pointing out it does say "giant" which is why I grabbed it. Honestly I didn't want it, previewed it, was like wow that looks pretty awesome, bought it and was like damn you zos!!!

I think it's time these items either go in the Xbox store or ZOS just doesn't sale them.

I see the issue and I don't like how they are selling non-Ingame items (you can't get these in-game) using this crown store which removes any normal service options from Xbox live and limits it to the ZOS rules

Good luck with that. There is literally a clause that states 'no refunds'.

It may have been intended to be giant, but it needs to be differentiated from normal nix hounds, unless you were hoping to run around trolling with it. Given a choice between giant, normal or miniature pets, I think that miniature is best. It will get in the way less. I can only imagine how much I will be (failing) to attack this thing in dungeons, the normal pets and people with the goblin polymorph already draw plenty of agro from me.
