Great looking zone with a lot of potential. I was just running around getting skyshards and wondering about this place. And what do you think will happen to Craglorn with One Tamriel? Wild speculation welcome.

As of right now, it is one of the last places I would enter.

With One Tamriel.... it will be much more appealing.

I kinda hope the arbitrary three player requirememts in Craglorn delves will be removed.

I haven't been back in a while but if it's still a Group level zone then it hasn't changed in my view. Get back to me once it's Solo friendly.

I've been questing there recently with some friends - the storyline is great, but with rewards and loot the way they are at the moment, plus difficulty of finding a group at the same stage of the quest that you are on, there's not really much incentive to do content there other than to play through the story.

They have said they are looking at the zone, I am hoping with One Tamriel it will be scaled and give better rewards.

Laglorn is still as laggy as ever. It doesn`t seem to be population, so much as the zone not being made / tested properly. For example, there are places that *always* lag, without fail.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

Sadly i have barely a clue about craglorns storyline, since all my teammates rushed thought all the quests. :'(

If you're on NA PC, I have 2 characters who have done it, but another 6 I could potentially go through the storyline again on, and 3 characters on EU PC who haven't done it, if you want someone to group with.

It'll be great once they make it so you can solo all quests by removing the 'multi-switches' from some of them.

I use it for crafting mats and gathering nirnhoned mats for crafting research/selling and will do DSA/AA etc if it's the weekly trial but for an area of that size it's shocking that's what it's used for.

As long as the XP nerfs stay, i stay out. I don't even farm there any more.

Simce Crag has lots of good instanced delves, ZOS should try settable difficulty levels from casual to nightmare and tokens there.

Not really, in an attempt to make it solo, ZOS already made it faceroll easy.

It is my serious hope that with the rework, they take all of the Craglorn unique dungeons (not the delves, but the dungeons like Shadas Tear) and rework them into group dungeons in their own right. These places are AMAZINGLY well designed, and simply having them scale, adding good loot, and putting them in the group finder would be a huge step in improving the zone.

Two Reasons why I hated craglorn:

Forced group content, where even if you could do it with 2 or 3 people, it forced you to have 4 there to move on.

Being situated in hammerfell, I hate that place.

Oh yes, poor drops and XP points given are what turning me off from Craglorn. Not sure about this One Tamriel thing.. haven't read up on it yet, but I'm sure I'll give to it soon. Is it supposed to scale all difficulty levels to CP 160 throughout Tamriel and some drops and XP throughout?

I love the group aspect but it's not in the activity finder which makes no sense to me.

They updated the game but this zone should be at the top tier in all environments OR if in the fall, if they raise the level cap, this zone should be at that new cap always.

Nirnhoned Trist is here exclusively still other than some weekly events...the zone is more frustrating still due to the above

Great place to fill soul gems?

Seriously though, the zone is tougher and offers no substantially better rewards and worse XP than anywhere else.

It is a good training ground to test your solo-builds. If you can solo the delves in both upper and lower Craglorn you have a descent build to try Maelstrom with if you want.

Hopefully they remove the 4 player requirement for some of the quests so I can finally complete the last few quest lines.

Craglorn will always have a special (bad) place in my heart

    No solo content
    Forced Group play
    Reason I quit the game

This was before the Imperial City so I don't know if it changed.
I had originally hoped this was a game that would treat solo and group play evenly but one you reached a certain V level you were basically stuck in that disgusting wasteland (for solo players) with nothing to do.

I looked briefly at the game when the Imperial City came out but again it looked like the emphasis was forced group play. Not sure if that was the case, but didn't want to invest my time again only to find out I was again cut out of content.

Hope it's better now. Always enjoyed the Elder Scrolls, and I hope that eventually the on-line version will come to understand there needs to be a solo path through content as well as group.

By far my favorite zone in the game. Maybe it's sad, but my proudest in-game achievement was arguably the first time I charged into a Craglorn hornet's nest and actually won. I've grouped up to complete around 10-20% of the content, and soloed probably 60% of it. 2 more skyshards to go and a handful of quests. It's also one of my primary alchemy farming grounds. Highest drops for columbine in my experience. It needs some LFG love and some re-scaling for sure.

Craglorn is a sloppy mess right now. I'll wait and see what they do with it in the fall. If they fix the xp so it's not artificially deflated compared to everywhere else, that would be a start. The new SO is also a good thing. Updating Dragonstar Arena as well as AA and HRC would be exactly what the zone needs. I've got a frozen trout in my freezer that I want to apply to the person responsible for keeping Craglorn xp at basically zero for over a year.

Personally, I loved doing the Craglorn group delves (when VR14 was the cap).. done them all except Shada's Tears. I still haven't completed DragonStar arena either. So, still things to do.

I used to take my new VR! characters to Craglorn to fight wasps as they used to be so tough it was a good benchmark to see if my build was OK or not. But either I got tougher or my CP got too high or the wasps have been nerfed... because they no longer seem much of a challenge.

I still haven't done either of the trials... would love to team up & do them one day.

I still wander around north Craglorn, from time to time, in the vain hope of scoring a nirncrux :)
