I almost feel insulted that out of 63 keys with guaranteed shoulders I only get literally 2 I need/would use... And one is light Skoria infused..

To be honest, I think this Thread was not necessary.

Sure its disappointing you didnt get what you wanted, but looking at how many Different Armor Types with many Different traits you received, this Is simply Bad luck on your end.

Well yea they can't read the OP's mind. But IF an item has a good trait you can atleast bank it and save it up. IF you only get well-fitted, training, sturdy like it is these days... it's a pain to open it. Drop quota is even worse than before... just a daily disappointment chest

seems a mod deleted my last post? or im losing it? dont know why but, suffice to say you seem to ignore you got 29.5% drops in the traits you wanted. and 19% drops in divines (BIS for most). That's better than before Imo.

The monster sets being good or bad is a different topic to traits. and why only light shoulders?

Shoulders are good in all weights as armor on legs head shoulders and feet is the same. If you run heavy chest and medium shoulders for undaunted mettle passive with 5 pieces of light or if you run heavy shoulders and medium chest you only lose 86 armor (legendary geared). which is really nothing in terms of mitigation <0.2% The benefit of the monster set itself far far outshines this.

Yes totally agree with you. I did see plenty of good drops on that list. Sure if you want 5+1+1 it's better to have a heavy chest rather than a small piece but that doen't make a huge difference. I would be happy with a medium or heavy shoulder if it had the right trait.

Don't get me wrong I'm not all that disappointed with my drops, though i probably came across as I was. Though light divines was my number one priority, I'm not going to break down my medium/heavy divines or infused because it isn't what I wanted, I'll work around it and make-do with what I've got. but like I said, some info there I didn't know about such as your last paragraph, so thank you for that

Pretty much all the same that caught my eye too haha, and as you can imagine they're amongst the ones I kept.

Lol I totally feel you. I was getting an eyesore at all the nerien'eth and malubeth shoulders I was getting, the torment continued into my silver keys haha!

Was kind of funny though, from the silver chests I received more engine guardian and kena shoulders than from gold.

Hey thanks for actually documenting it, I did something similar with Wrothgar Recompense Bags.

One day in the future a really smart person will realize that almost every games hates RNG and will develop a cool rewarding system that does not insult players or push play time just for the heck of it and hopefully the game that does this will be a good game and other developers will pay attention.

Very smart, I didn't even think of doing that lol. But then again I have been saving my keys since I hit v1 way back in early February so I feel I have waited long enough to use my keys

Random undaunted dailies, not sure about AD or EP, but in DC the area is outside wayrest
Hit level 45 and you can do your non-vet daily, which is a non-veteran dungeon and as a reward gives a silver key, v1 = veteran dungeon = gold key. The gold key guarantees a monster set shoulder in purple, as well as other random goodies, whereas silver key gives random blue items + random chance of monster set shoulder.

Who the HELL needs monster helms or shoulders in training or prosperous? In ENDGAME drops/rewards those traits shouldn't even exist ! What is that? a punishment???? Suppose to be reward!!!

To be honest, you can say the same for almost all the traits in the game....

4% reduced block cost on my DPS, gee thanks! Lower dodge roll yippee! More armor rating on my light armor! Training and Prosperous are still more useful to me than those kind of things, so it's all personal preference really.

Nah. Well-fitted and Sturdy are both useful in PvP. Training should be craftable only and prosperous should be burned.

OP I feel your pain. I opened a bunch of keys after the patch dropped because I foolishly thought, guaranteed shoulder is better than a slightly better trait selection with no guarantee. That turned out to be a huge mistake. No impen, tons of training and prosperous. I had to put my controller down for a while after that.
