    So cool, isn't it?

I hope your computer will be OK. Mine is like yours but a year newer.

It is so beautiful.I didnt want to leave! Kinda reminded me of Seyda Neen.

I was really disappointed that the quest immediately took me inside a building because I wanted to stay outside.
I probably spent an hour trying to find a way over the various hills and rocks blocking me from seeing more.

I know.I stood there and turned my camera around several times just staring at the surroundings.
Wow.Why cant they add that look into the game more than the look in Grahtwood? I mean,Grahtwood is lovely, but it would be amazing if it looked that lush!

I have to agree with this as well. I really felt that the foliage should have been more dense in Grahtwood, although it could have been a hardware issue perhaps. It makes sense though, considering it is the heart of the GREEN PACT in a land of carnivorous elves who revere the green things.

    The difference is ecological, really.
Blackmarsh is significantly wetter than Grahtwood. You're, in essence, comparing the Amazon to the Redwood forest.

That little bit of Blackmarsh was just stunning. If they could create it there, why not other places.Who knows though,..maybe this is a taste of what Black Marsh will turn into one day.

    Here you go:

Actually I think this place is located in the Cyrodiilic province, because I vaguely remember Green-Venom-Tongue saying that the Sanctuary is in Blackwood, which is just along the border of Cyrodiil and Black Marsh.

So we haven't really been to Black Marsh yet ;)

I've been to the Redwoods many times, and I'm telling you they can be much more dense. The place is a lot drier in recent years but I can tell you it just feels more dense than Grahtwood.

Don't bother, OP. ESO's renderer is so terrible that even with a fancy new computer the game will still struggle to maintain a steady 60 frames per second while displaying visuals that were at most mediocre 5 years ago.

Yeah, you might be right. When I think Redwoods I think big coniferous trees, and sparse ground vegetation; but I've only really been to the park where it's pretty well groomed. Though, I lived in the Pacific northwest for 26 years, and I've seen a lot of forests. But, all that is irrelevant I think since Grahtwood is really more of a deciduous jungle ecosystem, not coniferous forest.

Maybe we can chock it up to Grahtwood being fairly populated and maintained by it's inhabitants while Blackmarsh (at least the area we saw) seems pretty deserted and left to its own devices. I live in Hawaii, now, and I can tell you it doesn't take long for the jungle to swallow everything up if people stop paying attention. :)

Strange thing to say.My 9 yr old PC just had a new video card, but not the best,is working with ESO's renderer just fine.I only left my NVidiaGForce due to the D11 thing.

Yeah, my five-year-old rig runs it fine except in a few specific occasions on high-ultra settings.
Blackmarsh just happened to be one of those occasions. They other is that Lamia boss at the bottom of Direfrost, the one that electrifies the whole room. That gets a little choppy sometimes.

I built my PC this year 5780k i7, 32GB ram and using x2 GTX970's, all watercooled and running sweet as. Nothing really gives my computer jip, even editing or processing 4k video in Final Cut Pro.

I log onto ESO and im getting ~200-400 latency and FPS can be anywhere, game stuttering while in combat with more than a few people. I dont even group anymore with people outside UK as i think this impacts me also - I don't know why.

I notice a huge difference just as you describe when I am in some places. I suspect it is all about the internet connection. Even if you are using a fast connection, the topography of that network and how it actually connects to the server may matter a great deal. Maybe do a traceroute.

I know it can get a bit tight and near stuttering on my PC.It hasnt caused me to be unable to kill that one yet though.Thank God!

For those of you running Windows OS and complaining about latency, try downloading and running Leatrix Latency Fix. It was designed for WoW, but its an operating system adjustment/ hack that changes how your computer handles networking. It works at reducing latency for any MMO or online game if it works for you.
