I am aware this is an MMO. I have no problem playing with other people and do so often (not currently as I don't play much anymore). But outside of a couple group outings a few times a week (once again, when I played), the vast majority of my time in-game was spent alone.

Unless you literally never log into the game outside of times when you will group up and do something, I would think it would be a similar experience for most players.

But there is little to do for an individual player. Dungeons can't be done alone save for a few broken niche builds because they scale to you. Many zones have public dungeons that have mechanics that physically require multiple people to finish them. So you can't finish those. Most of the post-launch content additions are almost exclusively group content... Whether via the zone actually requiring a group, as I said previously to overcome group mechanics... Or by the zones simply being made difficult enough that the require multiple players to defeat the content.

I say again, I am not opposed to most of that (short of the warm body requirement like multiple buttons that need to be pressed at once or something)... But there needs to be other stuff that individuals can do as well... Lest you spend most of your time in-game doing nothing because you alone are not capable of any of it.

While leveling there is plenty to do solo... The entire questing experience, almost all world bosses, all dolmens, all of the small delves, many of the public dungeons, etc... But once you do all of that, once you are capped out... There is nothing at all apart from the group grind.

Thank you.

There is a solo trial, you can challenge yourself and try to beat it in either normal or veteran difficulty.
Only veteran counts toward leaderboards btw.

Have you played the DLCs ? There is much solo content in them, especially daily replayable stuffs.

Apart from that I'm afraid you can't play solo forever in an MMO.

Oh and I heard Guild Wars 1 has mostly a solo game, even if it's an MMO. Graphics may be dated too.

Atleast remove puzles from craglorn dungeons. Is imposible to do if you are less than 4 man party.

I suppose its what you want out of Solo?

Orsinium/Thieves/DB solo daily's and repeatable quests, a truck load of achievements to attain or just head out farming and exploring, never a dull moment in this game.

    Be safe

    Errr... wat?

There is like only ONE public dungeon that requires 2 people to complete the event.
All the new PvE DLCs have been 99% directed at mostly solo play. vMA (solo), 3 super easy zones.
There have been only TWO new group dungeons and a single piece of new content for hardcore trial raiders (Maw), well and I guess they scaled SO?...

And of course us PvPrs got a big phat ****

Yeah Craglorn has some mechanics but c'mon - pretty much all the new content has been directed at solo PvErs.

There is an ever growing list of variably daily activities you can do in each of the DLC zones, Cyrodiil, and of course the Daedric Maelstrom Dimension.

That's hours of content already there to do each day, and ZoS will be ever expanding this. Once it was a little limited, but things have improved, and will continue to do so.

Don't forget that 99% of the quests in Tamriel are designed for solo/duo play too.
If you can be anything, be kind.

I belive the current end game solo content is:

    PVP:
Both imperial city/sewers and cyro. Alot of different theorycraftings, options and builds available for solo playing. Atm, it even rewards players with more AP I believe the less the group is, and there is sets out there benefits solo players and counters large groups.

    Maelstrom Arena:
Have best in slot weapons, and also rewards with legendary jewelry reward after a weekly.
Its ok to both farm or just do once a week. Gives achievement points and good xp, can experience with different builds and setups.

    Achievements:
There is alot of achievements to get here to do, the most time consuming would maybe be the master angler.
There is also achievement related to farm specific mobs to get trophies, and spawn people to find and talk to around tamriel.

    Crafting, motifs and collection:
There is alot of motifs to collect, and also a good way to make money. Farming, playing the correct way and pay close attention to the game economy, has its own category in gaming, and many players enjoy this type of content, having 4-5 trading guilds actively.

    Guild master / officer:
Maybe not a solo end game option on the same level, allthough this requires alot of focus and can keep you busy constantly without even playing the game.

    DLC's:
If you just want to quest and pay attention to the story, there is tons of playtime even on max level here. Allthough this is not for everyone.

When it comes to pure end game like you stated, I agree there can be lack of things to do as a solo player, though I believe the game is growing in a positive way, and to judge by that Maelstrom Arena have its own category under "solo trial", shows that they have plans making more in the future.

We will also see more motifs, achievements, DLC's, housing and dps dummy, solo arenas, larger pvp etc in the future. Right now, I think ESO did a great job with content only in two years.
I do think dark brotherhood is one of the more boring dlc's we have, allthough vet sanctum is keeping us busy.

Lol I dont even have enough time to do all the solo content and dailies... In every dlc they add at least 95% solo content. Is that not enough for you?

Find a guild, and you'll play a lot with other people. If soloing is what you wanna do, you're not playing the best game, RPGs are great for that.
But there is little to do for an individual player.
All the past 3 DLCs are solo-oriented.
Dungeons can't be done alone save for a few broken niche builds because they scale to you.
Best joke I have ever heard. You can easily solo normal dungeon. If you want to do vet dungeon some can be soloed, for the rest, find a group. It's an MMO game, it's normal that there is group content.
Many zones have public dungeons that have mechanics that physically require multiple people to finish them.
If i remember well, only one public dungeon require multiple people to finish them. +Not sure if we can say that public dungeon is endgame content.
Most of the post-launch content additions are almost exclusively group content...
You made my day. The last 3 DLCs : only one gives us one group content : Maw of Lorkhaj. The last 3 DLCs are solo oriented.
But there needs to be other stuff that individuals can do as well...
If you wants to play alone, MMOs aren't for you, really. I suggest you to look at some great RPGs around there.
Lest you spend most of your time in-game doing nothing because you alone are not capable of any of it.
Join a guild, make friends, ... Group finder.
While leveling there is plenty to do solo... The entire questing experience, almost all world bosses, all dolmens, all of the small delves, many of the public dungeons, etc... But once you do all of that, once you are capped out... There is nothing at all apart from the group grind.
That's cause this is an MMO. No offense, but If you wanna play solo, you have lots of thing to do already in TESO, if you want more, maybe MMO aren't for you, you really should look at RPG Games (Bethesda's one if you love the lore of TESO).
    Thank you.
    You're welcome.
