End game gear set up...

Hey

I'm finally starting to think about end game gear set up. I'm high elf sorc vr14 and currently running 5 piece Magnus 4 piece marital knowledge.

I'm thinking about using 5 piece Julianos for end game and wondered that people think is the best other gear to go with it?

Also considering 5 piece vicious death and was wondering what's best to go with that?

I have dual wield for the spell damage increase so can have 9 slots.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated

PvE or PvpP? best advice scrap the sorc and make a nightblade because of the nerfs to sorcs lol... PvE setup 5 julianos all divines 2 kena all divine 3 willpower all arcane with spell damage 2 swords of torugs pact precise and maelstrom inferno with thief mundus 5+1+1 for undaunted passive simple cookie cutter build.

Just placing out there, this mentality, even as a joke, is what is most toxic about this community.

@Fignutz821 Lol I was thinking that but can't be bothered grinding another character up.

I was thinking more Pvp than pve would that build be good for pvp?

So sad how this describes roughly 90% of magic builds today.

Why is it sad? I mean, all that stuff minus willpower and kena is craftable, and even kena's available now and then at the cyro vendor. It's a powerful loadout for magicka builds, and relatively easy to acquire. Why wouldn't people use it?

I mean, yeah, it'd be great if there were other builds that offered the same kind of stats for the trouble of getting the gear together, but there aren't really any others at the moment.

So it's sad that so many people use this, or it's sad that so many people aren't intentionally gimping their build just so it's not considered "cookie cutter"?

Agree. when zos decides to buff sorcs and take dump on night blades... ooohhhh the salt is comming.

My rich friends use The Lich set and my poor friends use Kagrenacs Hope set instead of Julianos, because they will crit less on players wearing Impenetrable trait on gear anyways and the spell damage doesn't come at a great loss, for the alternative benefits.

And they also carry a destro/resto staff for the better protection, as nobody cares about their dps numbers in pvp - unless they post it to those they kill

It's sad that there is not much diversity. For stam dds there are quite many sets that are all very close in terms of dps and most of them are boe (viper, morag tong, night mother, hundings, twice born, flanking, ...)

Yeah for pvp id rather go with kagernarc over julianos. Also with new levelling system the grind isn't as bad but getting skyshards/lorebooks/skill points quests is a pain.
