Desperate Souls quest problem

When I try to do this quest Desperate Souls I am not able to use the Firesap Gel on the short red shards in the mine I get no option to do so I tried to cancel the quest and redo the quest and also exit the game and then enter the game again but it still does not work

Same here. Nothing but Skamps inside the mine.
Now I canceled the quest, travelled somewhere else and quit the game to wait ~30 minutes.
Don't know if this will help though.
It's my ninth character, so I don't think I'm doing something wrong

Abandoning the quest and quitting the game for 30 minutes doesn't work neither $:\$

i have the same problem, can't save the miners souls, no arrow pointing them out, but i can see them, but that is all. so i just abandoned it after trying a couple of tries: left the land & came back, used repair, & also tried abandon quest. None of my tries worked.

This is the 3rd quest in the last week that has glitched out. Made a thread about the first one. The second one is where you need to capture a rat and let it loose in the bar (name of quest escapes me offhand) so you can steal some drink. Thank god you can get the feller on the other side of the bar to sing because you can not capture a rat. Pressing E when prompted on multiple different rats does not work.

How many other quests have bugged out now?

Yes, this quest has bugged out for me as well. Also, like the other poster said, I was unable to capture a rat near the bar in Davon's Watch, but used the wine anyway.

This is really starting to get on my last nerve....between the excessively long loading times, reloading during game play now we have to deal with quests not even functioning right!!! Cmon folks get it together, I don't like wasting my time on a mission that's glitches with no fix in sight.
