Personally I would love it if they made an "champion" version of all the homeland zones... which unlocks after getting through the mainstory and portrays those zones in "post-mainstory" incarnation - meaning all the things that were "going on" during the mainstory seen as "over and in cleanup" - the DC invasion of bleakrock being over and rebuilding in progress, same for bal foyen and stonefalls, the volcanos going dormant again with the brother sof strife bound, the plague in Deshaan over and the maulborn dispersed, the AD incursion into Shadowfen retreated, the civil war in Eastmarch over, and the reach attackers and worm cultists in the rift defeated... that sort of thing. With maybe a lighter mob density, but all of it battle levelled...
But it is not really all that likely to happen, since it would be a huge effort on their part for no extra income. And I expect they would much rather fo four DLCs a year they can sell then spend two years reworking all those regions for such an idea... and come to think of it, I myself would rather have new DLC regions then reworked old regions...
I'd like to see Craglorn more like Wrothgar is now so that solo players can at least play in Craglorn instead of side-stepping it. This area is a wasteland, abandoned and forlorn and needs much love imo.
yes, but it should not take from making new content etc. but some of what they have learned about their game would be nice to see in some of the old zones.
Yes, but only to Craglorn. No one wants to group in a zone that doesn't even give decent rewards. People who like to complete the entire map and storylines at least once (that being me) find it difficult to find anyone willing to waste their time in this zone, even to help out guildmates or friends. Either give Craglorn worthy drops or some worthwhile reward for grouping there or turn the zone into a solo zone.
I understand it's not worth the manhours to them, but frankly, I think they should at least tackle Cyrodiil in this manner. It's an endgame zone, and it absolutely pales in comparison to the Gold Coast.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!? Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.
Yes, there should be a reason to explore, to go places, and to do things. I miss a lot of the zones I have completed, but I am sick of repeating the same line of quests, and there is literally no other reason to be in the zones apart from the quests, or something like skyshards.
I would love a revamp of the old zones, with some sandbox mechanics, so that we will actually want to be there, rather than only be there because we have to be.
Thankfully, ZoS have said they're looking at how to improve it. Personally I think it should be the premier place to go for group landscape/story/delve content in the game. I look forward to seeing what they're going to do with it. Fingers crossed it will be something great.
Other than that: I'd love to see every zone in the game battle-leveled, or to similar effect. I think it would enhance the social aspect of the game so much.
Dont think they need to do a complete overhaul of the zones... but it would be cool if they added something new to them. Personaly, Id love ZOS to expand on the idea of dolmens. Maybe turn them into full blown invasions with Daedra spilling out of portals and slowly overruning the landscape. Youd have packs of daedric beasties and squads of daedric soldiers roaming around, attacking towns and quest hubs. There'd be mini bosses at the dolmens protecting the portals with huge bosses spawning when you get through 2 or 3 waves of those guardians.
Also, Craglorn badly needs a makeover.

P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.
Entire game should be max level and have your character power leveled so you can go though the game at your pace and do the content you want when you want. No reason for NPCs to display levels as that could intimidate new players. Maybe have a challenge color indicator like green, blue red.

yes and its the only place left where i can get even a vague solo challenge. leave it as it is.
At least the spelling is difficult for you.
