DB: Skill Points On Your Alt

If I have an alt who is Veteran 2, with barely any skill points due to skipping a lot of Skyshards, will I get any additional skill points when the Dark Brotherhood patch arrives on console in 3 days?

    You will, all the point's you'd have due to being a v16 will get on all lv 50 toons *granted your main is at least vr16

    On the good side much like the TG dlc the main story line quest do award Skill points for completeing them. On the bad side there are only 3 or so skyshards in the Gold Coast.

    @Molag_Crow ^This. I think you are confusing the two.

    Vet Ranks go away. After 50, you just have Champion Points. As they are account wide, any character level 50 or higher will be the same CP level.

    Skill points are entirely separate from CP. You get them from many sources: Gaining levels (and previously Vet Ranks), collecting skyshards, doing certain quests, etc. They are acquired individually per character, and are not shared in any way.

    You may end up with a few extra skill points on your V2, but only because of the change they made to the skill points you get while leveling, not because you also have a VR16. Instead of 1 for each of 49 levels, and 1 for each VR, you now get the VR points during 1-50 (since VRs went away). So any level 50 character will have already gotten the leveling skill points. They still won't have any of the other skill points, like from skyshards and quests, until they get those themselves.

    I know skill points and champion points aren't the same :p I almost thought you said my alt would get 300+ of my main's skill points as well, but then that would be over the top and of course champion points on the other hand, are still account wide, yeah.. thanks btw.

    True. Those TG skill points came in handy for sure... my main is my crafter so I needed those for when I got vampirism again hehe
