More skilled - or more bigheaded? I would say that if one can successfully play the console version - without all the helping addons, mouse precision and text chat, just the raw gameplay - he probably is a more skilled player...vladimilianoub17_ESO1 wrote: »you find more skilled players in PC

There are a lot of random uninformed players queuing for dungeons with group finder. Lots of the points in this post are valid yet could all be solved by finding a good guild. Most good guilds won't group seriously with people with no mic. I do use group finder only if I play on carrying a group through a dungeon.

What, exactly, do you think addons do? The addons I use help with inventory sorting and other UI issues - guild stores and the like.

i agree.
played ESO on PC beta and early access i play both XB1 and PC still.
this topic is kinda dumb and misleading.
the dungeon subject- consoles dont have a whole array of MMO offerings like PC ESO and PC players have an advantage due to the fact console was released later.
ESO on console wont make it past 2 years thats how it is. console players are feed new games every year we want them thats why ESO console wont last as long as PC versions.
like a new game it takes time to know the mechanics. console or pc
also xbx1 ps4 text chat will be waste. i can see it in riften text chat alot of your mom is fat jokes or text battle rappers.

I agree I have seen some " not humble" comments in this thread, nothing I can do about it.But its not the purpose of my post to sound cocky or anything like that.Im just pointing out something that its very true.Something that im pretty sure everyone will notice if you spend a lot of time running dungeons on both platforms and compare.

I'm not the majority, my YouTube page is covered with ESO guides and my safari has Tamriel foundry book marked.
I didn't even enter a vet dungeon until I was at cp cap with all gold gear and much study of each vet dungeon before being a nuseance to my fellow ESO players. I wish others I grouped with had the same passion for doing their best to make the game more enjoyable in group settings however for the majority that's not the case.
I do think the PC community does have the advantage of add-ons like parses and big pinballesque pop ups letting them know when things are procc'd, I know I've been certain frags has procc'ed at times but thanks to high ping I've missed my cast window and hard cast at least once every couple of runs but this game does need to be studied. There's just too much to learn to ignore the mechanics (as a whole).
But I'm sure as others have said that this will not reach your target audience.
Ps: the statement about PC players being smarter because of their keyboards and mouse is a little funny. Xbox Elite controllers are amazing. I'd even use one on PC. Never liked PC's as all mine in my teens were one year throw aways whilst I've got a 10 year old Xbox that still plays like a dream. Preference. Not intelligence.
Hey now...you can't have been around these parts very long!I have not heard one pure console player want it - with our stupid on screen keyboards there really is no point.
Also Op, if you recently switched console, your lack of CP, therefore damage may also have been a hinderence to your teams
Yeah OP you can't judge all console players based on a few scrubs you couldn't carry through some dungeons. Find new people to play with there are plenty of console players more than capable of completing all content in the game

Please find a PC player who can do this (WITHOUT CHEAT ENGINE) and we can agree all platforms are equal!

There's a lot of rubbish on zone chat on PC too tbh (you can tell when some people have had a little too much to drink on a Friday night!), but it's a simple matter to configure chat to have zone chat off by default.
Agree it happens on most MMOs with text chat, but i think the pros of having a text chatAlso Op, if you recently switched console, your lack of CP, therefore damage may also have been a hinderence to your teams
200 cps,I was DPS at low lvl, switched to tank at VR 1 because i get instant queue,I said to myself " I have lots of experience tanking why not just go tank" and with my experience Im not one of those DPS that queue as tank just for quick queue.I queue as tank for quick queue and im actually a tank.
I went from vr 1 to vr 15 just doing random dungeons and pledges(thanks ZOS for making dungeon crawling viable for leveling, about time) so you can imagine how many dungeons on console i have already run.Which gives me pretty good info for comparing success runs between PC and console via grp tool.I find that I have many more success runs on PC than on console. In the many failed runs on console i found that a common issue is the lack of knowledge about mechanics and builds.
