Maelstrom weapon sales

Just wondering what you guys think. Would you ever want Maelstrom weapons to be sold? For how much? When should they be added? I know that long ago we always said "oh, they'll never sell monster sets" but look now. I guess it's a matter of time before they sell these weapons.

I'd much rather v15/cp 150 rank maelstrom weapons be avalible from the none vet maelstrom arena before they are purchase-able. The weapons alone for stamina user's are mandatory for dps, without them vMA is pretty hard.

I personally could care less about the weapons since standard enchants are so powerful now (for pvp reason's, they are still a must for pve)

You know what they sold my Kena helm ( actually all my helms in fairness I bough extra but hey) that took ages getting a group together going through every dungeon as a team for months to get good at.and still be talking at the end despite the many fights.it has taken its toll. They gave away my aliance skills that I positively slogged my but off to get, I was pvping day in and out and being in a different Timezone it was hard as I missed most of the raids back then due to it and work So it was a particularly long process for me. Ironically I started doing pvp thinking I needed barrier for planner inhibitor but in the end I didn't

So yes for once I would like them to sell the bit of content I have no interest in playing because I lack the attention span or just general interest to truly care about. See my friends get on and go do a raid, or come Do a trial etc which is much more interesting, social and therefore enjoyable for me. Actually I usually get on because I know my friends are on these days. it probebly why I am still playing.although I play a lot less. If I want solo content I play the witcher, and people leave me alone. When I am feeling like mmo it's ESO, so I hope they sell the weapons just make it at a vendor in wrothgar. So people have the content etc

I think I'd feel like I was cheating if I got Maelstrom weapons for gold, considering how difficult the content of that trial is versus the difficulty of veteran dungeons. At least with selling veteran dungeon helms and shoulders it's more about avoiding the grind than avoiding the skill check.

no, but some kind of trophy vault ypi can open would be nice, woth a guaranteed weapon drop with not *** traits.put it in the stupid lighthouse or somehing.

What about if they sold the weapons BUT you can only purchase if you have completed VMSA.

Or alternatively do a token system, but that still means a big grind ahead.

I'm in the group of although I'd like them weapons, I just find VMSA so incredibly boring and tiresome. I have finished it and at first I liked the challenge. But now I just can't do it (no enjoyment). I'd rather pvp, quest, craft, farm, pledges etc. Anything but do it. That's me though I only speak for myself.

Note- I'm not a scrub in there, I can do it in good time, it's just so tiresome and not fun for me. IMO of course.
RNG doesn't help.

No if they do this then from that point on why introduce new dlc content, they may as well just bring out a new vendor with BIS gear each update so that lazy people don't have to complete any content because they feel entitled to the gear

I would rather they introduce a better system for reasonably getting your weapons out of the arena. However, they seem incapable of or unintersted in doing that. If they listed weapons at this point, I guess I wouldn't care. They should make them very very expensive if they do.

Terrible idea considering you don't need BIS gear to do 90% of the content in this game.

I would feel for all the people that grinded out vMSA only to find out other people with the cash can pay to win. Something in this game needs to be achieved by means other than money.

What I would like to see (and this is gonna sound like I'm going off topic but has relevance) is more jewelry sets that have good 2-4 piece bonuses. Current meta for dmg is to use 3 piece willpower/agility 5 piece Julianos/hundings (or another 5 piece if you're a bit more imaginative with your build) and a 2 piece monster set or 2 single pieces monster (kena and BS) meaning most people using 2H weps feel the need to use maelstrom weapons otherwise you get the feeling that slot is wasted.

I'd also like to see the masters gear get scaled, offer a CP160 version of vet DSA for those of us who are better in groups that solo (waves hand) as some of those wouldn't be terrible if at a high enough level.

No. I'm not a fan of the helms for sale, and would not celebrate Maelstrom weapons being sold. I just don't think you should sport helms and weapons from bosses and content you've never even seen.

this. main reason why many stam builds struggle is due to being balanced around requiring end game items to begin with

That would work, the drop rate would need to be crazy low though as there isn't a ton of difference between v15 and v16 weps

Honestly I was surprised they didn't do this considering how Dragonstar Arena worked.

Most of my issues with the whole vMSA comes not from the fact it's hard but the fact it's hard and they locked very powerful items behind it with no weaker versions available for people who are not at the level to complete it.

No. You should complete the content to get the reward. But allow people to trade in 10 or 20 unneeded Maelstrom weapons for the one they want.

I'd rather see a maelstrom weapon choice at the end rather than a random drop and trait... tired of getting shields and staves on a melee stam character

Yes, but only via tokens that you earn by doing trials or vet dungeons and there would have to be a cap of how many you can earn per week.

Why not sell them? I was surprised that helms/shoulders went on sale...cuz hey, I earned all of mine the long grinding way.
However, I did so after nearly every streamer/post discussed meta builds at the time requiring "xxxhelm" etc...

I wouldn't mind at all feeling I could get BIS before it becomes completely irrelevant.
