Well this is something they could do, adding the abilty to join the silver dawn. An order of werebeast hunters.
This dlc, would add two sides, like dawnguar dlc in elder scrolls skyrim. The ability to side with the werebeasts, or the silver dawn.
Silver Dawn would, grant us new abilties, silver weapons, as well as crossbows and maybe spears.
While, we can side with the werewolves or other werebeast type., they could give us an option to become differant forms of werebeasts, where we could become werebears, werecrocs, werebat, wereshark, werevulture and wereboar, as well as werelion.
I do think they could do well with a dlc or expansion like this. After all that one quest in the dark brotherhood dlc was intersting. I would like them to add onto that, by getting us involved with a order of werebeast hunters or the werebeasts themselves.

They won't add active abilities to DLC skill lines, it's always going to be passives so it doesn't feel like a necessary purchase to be competitive in base game content. The only time I see them adding new active abilities is when they do a full on expansion or when updating a base game skill lines like Vampirism or giving weapon lines Ultimate abilities.

The Dev response to adding more active abilities is since the present array of abilities have proven so hard to balance, they will not add more variables to the mix. This is also why new passives effect almost exclusively non-combat PvE.

In regards to the OP, the Fighters Guild already uses the Silver Dawn's crossbow, so another incentive must be added. Perhaps crossbows as a weapon type? But at the very least alternate ammo types for Silver Bolt and morphs. These could be a separate skill line with an individual ability for each ammo type or a modification directly to the Silver Bolt ability, similar to a morph. This is also a prime DLC for PvP, giving players two opposing factions.

Would rather them focus on bigger normal zone based DLC like Wrothgar instead of the small guild based DLC with tiny zones that the last two have been.

If such a quest line is thrown in on a zone based DLC then fine, but another useless small zone just to introduce a guild line no.

This could be an expansion to the base game, itself. It could be more then a dlc, which would be fine.
But, sooner or later they need to do this, they need to add more abilties to the game. People are wanting to see necromancy and other things. I do think they need to expand some of the skilllines. I would like to see a nature class, where we can summon nature magic, transform into wolves and other creatures like the wyrresses in daggerfall.

There main problem is some of the coding they put into place that is straining the server, they are going to have to remove some of it. Enough to where the game would be able to handle the strain. Once they can release the strain that makes the server caulations so bad, and laggy it would at least make the game more playable for some players. This would give them the abilty to add more skills and skill lines without adding to server strain problem. I do want to see a crossbow skill line as well as a spear skill line with those added as in game weapons.

This could be a dlc where they add in several zones, Solitude, Morthal, White Run and Falkreath. They could add two main storylines, one involving nord politics, as well as the main dlc content. They could also add zones to existing zones, for the dlc. So this would be more like an expansion pack. This would add in most of skyrim. Something they should do. I would also like them to add skingrad which could become an area, on the border of varens wall, they should add this to the dark brotherhood dlc. I do get the point of not wanting small zones, but I do think they should fill in more of tamerial. Skyrim was popular, they should add those areas into the game. I can see this being an expansion pact. Not just a dlc.

I doubt I would mind something like this. AFAIK we're in the right timeframe for a cameo from Serana, Harkon and the rest of our Volkihar 'friends'; having a DLC for werebeasts would balance out the equation if they ever decide to do the Dawnguard.

I agree, this is what they need to do, I would like to see a werebeast dlc.

Yea man! I would LOVE this. In my profile there is a couple of bulletpoints of concepts I haven't posted. one is the idea of the Nightguard , which would be a guild/world skill dedicated to the destruction of Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts, Daedra.. pretty much anything that goes "bump" in the night. My original concept had PVP, which was pretty much the reason I never posted it. I didn't feel like having that conversation with a horde of players who would just scream "NO OPEN WORLD PVP!" or "I DON'T WANT TO HAVE CONSEQUENCES FOR MY CHOICES!!" or "ONLY IF THERE'S A TOGGLE!!!"

I don't care for the idea of the Silver Dawn/Nightguard being able to be transform into one of these beasts though. They should hate the things that prey on the mortals of Nirn.
