I know most damage abilites were buffed overall, but I feel like people are taking way too much damage than they should. was hitting the consistent 9k damage, my friends HP bar was not moving consistently. Sometimes it would do 30% of his health, 50%, and just random numbers.
A lot of people I have talked to have also noticed that damage seems to be unusually high. People had theories saying that (actually most people I talked to said this including @Sypherpk) where damage wasn't registering for some abilities and THEN they would register after another ability hits you. So if someone snipes you for 3k, you won't notice it until you get hit by another ability.
I don't know, I need to gather evidence but at this point I am 99.9% sure damage is weird and insane at the moment.

1: Enchants do 300% more damage.
2: Trait's are now a flat value instead of percentage.

Here is a video confirming that either death recaps are broken, or something is bugged.https://youtu.be/v64JgT12DFw
According to the skills used against me, my death recap should end with a meteor and radiant oppression, but instead it shows attacks used against me several seconds before those other skills. One is even an ultimate, so I know I couldn't have been hit by it twice. Honestly to me, it looks like a bug. When I get hit by the radiant my combat text floods with several hits of damage, even though it was the only thing damaging me and for only a second. Maybe I was in the meteor dot, but to me it looks like I was out of it.

Rewound it a bunch. 19,401 meteor. The last 3 hits in actuality were meteor, molten whip then surprise attack. The dragon leap actually occurred 2 seconds before the meteor. I have 1 shot people with meteor since DB and I should not be able to do that in my build.
19K meteor, this is why armor needs to actually give defense in Cyrodiil.
I like your comment at the end..."what!?". That is pretty much my comment after every death in DB.

Some things need a careful look maybe - but the ability to heal gets better and better every patch. Its pretty absurd right now if you dont kill someone quickly with a good build that knows what theyre doing. They never die - and the eternal sustain is there.

I agree in that healing got better this patch. Transmutation buff is very significant, and some of the old sets that got reintroduced are nice. I run Desert Rose and as long as I have someone wailing on me my magicka is infinite. However, more than that self healing got a huge buff. The new Lingering Health potion that gives Major Vitality is allowing DK's and Stamplars to get 4-5k vigors. Mending and Vitality buffs stack with Malubeth's too, which people somehow are just now realizing how good it really is. IMO Malubeth buff should be Major Vitality instead of stacking with it, and the buff should probably be 25% instead of 30% so it is even with Major Mending.
I end up with 5 poisons running on me. I can see their icons all red, nasty, and ticking down. As a Templar I fire off my Purge, which should dispel all 5. Heck, it should dispel at least 2, right? Nope. Not a single one. I recast it again, and again, and again. No nada. Nothing is ever purged. All I can do is just spam heal the crap out of myself until their timers finally run down.
Things are very very wrong in PVP.
Game feels as if there is a delay of some seconds between animation and calculation.

I agree Malubeth should be major mending not another stacked portion.

I can plainly see you getting hit with dawnbreaker, take flight, etc. But it does seem like there's some kind of time delay in where your healthbar is in relation to when you died from those attacks and also from the recap. Thinking in movie terms, it's like a badly done voice over where the persons' mouth and the audio are just a couple hairs off. I think this is what many of us are seeing. It's especially glaring to me when I'm attacked by multiple players solo. Even wearing 7 pieces of heavy armor and blocking, I should be able to take more hits than I am. I know I could before DB with just 5 medium 2 heavy.
So if our healthbars aren't totally in sync with the action, we can't react fast enough to compensate and we end up dying (seemingly out of the blue) I don't know if the information flow is too slow or too fast, but something odd is going on. I also think the recaps are off because of it, and I'm thinking damage is maybe not the problem. It's something technical with sync'ing all the action and server info up.
