I actually think they all are great.
PvE folks that aren't solo focused wanted group stuff since Craglorn. It's finally coming in gear progression this time around. I like that the updates seem to cater to certain groups. This is great.

Moon dancer for me tho

Adjustments definitely are needed on these sets for them to be viable.

I'd rather have Moondancer or Alkosh on my tanks than Lunar Bastion.

That way, I either gain a lot of Spell damage, magic regen or apply a very damaging debuff on enemies whenever I pop synergies.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno In a previous meeting about a month or so ago it was brought up that some changes were being investigated over these sets. Is there anything you'd be able to share time frame or change wise with that? It'd be really cool to see some updates to these sets to be a bit more impactful, as many of them (and the new SO sets) leave a little to be desired in most aspects.

How did you calculate the debuff via Alkosh to lead to 6% damage increase?

I agree with the sentiment about the Alkosh synergy drawbacks. Adding to that point, another tricky part of synergy use is when the synergies overlap each other and change, don't work when pressed, or only show up after moving around.

Standard, Nova, Orbs all require some fidgeting around to find alot of the time and I would argue that positioning is one of the most important aspects of tanking. Even slight shifting of a boss can throw a battle into chaos. We should be playing ESO, not synergy finder.

3010 armor and spell resit reduction is equal to 6.02% increase damage, a mob's mitigation value unlike a player's is 500 Armor and Spell resist = 1% mitigation, instead of 660. Mobs are capped at stat values of level 50 entities. 3010/500 = 6.02% increased damage, assuming they have exactly or more than 3010 Physical and Spell reduction after being hit.

That is pretty cool. Do you happen to know the amount of armor and spell resist that Maw and SO bosses have?

Not the exact values, but most have anywhere from 18k to 20k. The highest mitigation in game is fire and ice resistant @ 22000 something on the Planar Inhibitor, when she is in the respective modes.
